Just got the scouting report back on Jordan Cox and he looks incredible. His only flaw is heading quality is a little bit low.
I too just got the scouting report back... with the lower heading might be more suitable to train as a side defender (either side with his universal). And I know both our NT U20 and Senior are weak there.
I just got the scouting report back on Preston Houghton he looks like he is gong to be a brillant centre midfielder, it was a great week for you from the sports academy.
Just had a look at the upcoming game between the U17 & U20 australian national teams and clearly the U20s are the favourites but the U20s have the exact same overall team strength as the finland U17s and the Australian U17s were ahead at one stage in that game so it might not be as easy as the public may think.
This will be a highly anticipated match for the She'llBeRightMate Cup. My tip is U20s 2-1

I just got Houghton's report too, definitely in with a chance for next year although Grimmo's bloke Tony Morse looks like the best pull of the season to date.
Martin Balks will be fit for tomorrows game, is he going have to prove himself to get back in the team as Eric Hyland bagged a double last week?
The U17s couldn't manage an upset against the U20s but there were some positives for us. Sixteen year old Scott McGrath continues to impress in midfield and will probably be part of the starting team from here on in. And new defender Thomas Powell might be the plug we need in our backline and will probably see more time over the next few weeks.
The other new players were all capable and able to step up if needed due to injuries or suspension but I'll be aiming to give the 16yos as much as time as possible off the reserves bench to build up experience and chemistry for next season.
The next game is against Iran and I'm hopeful we might record our first win. Tune in next week!

Just scouted Dylan Barnsley , a new defender from FC Atlantic. Very good qualities, definitely one to keep an eye on for the future
His qualities are too low for my squad. Want him? LOL

Both decent players Abe Doherty looks like he will be a good side defender.
Noah kelly could be alright depends on the scouting report

Are you training him as a central defender?
The U17s recorded their first win tonight with a solid 4-0 victory over Iran. We expected the Iranians to be under strength but it was still pleasing not to concede a goal away from home while at the same time creating plenty of opportunities at the other end.
Also good to see was continued improvement from the seven 16yos who got a run. Right defender Joshua Dwyer scored his first goal at any level and assisted with another. Dwyer has the lowest overall rating of any player in the squad although his quality is unmistakeable so to see him gain confidence with the rest of the team is a great sign for the future.
Next week we host Mexico, a team who appear closely matched to our boys so I'm hopeful we might notch up another win.
