What is your scouring efficiency?

Daily scouting shows the letter on the basis of levels of facilities and staff on the day of scouting. This continues until the pulling day. And after end of pick all the letters are shown already on the basis of current levels of facilities and staff. Therefore, some of them are changing.

No hidden gem scouted this season with max HR and scouting. Sadly...

You see the hidden gem after the draft. It has nothing to do with scouting.

Hidden gem therefore called hidden. Because no one can reveal it in advance. Specially for those who pulls the players are not among the first. When all the "A" has already pulled out, you still have a chance for a good player.

I have the same levels even before this drat started, and some letters have changed, so I think the end ones must be the real ones. Otherwise, I don't understand anything!!!

It's a raw estimate... If you have bad lvl SA and bad lvl scouting then it could show a player to be anything from A to D. Let's say your scouting facilities/employees are good enough for player to show as B or C. Once you scout it will be either one of those potentials, and once you draft it the player will again be either one of those potentials. So it can swap from B to C or C to B just because your scouting isn't reliable source of information.

You could think of it like being 80% chance showing as B and 20% as C if it's most likely being a B type of player. There is still chance for it to show as C and you can make those prosentual chances more accurate by building up your HRE/scouting%.

And to the "real" ones. It won't be real potential because it's an estimate again. If you want to get accurate scouting results then you need HRE lvl 15 and scouting 100% which will provide approximately something between 99-100% as a potential accuracy.

because you obviously don't get the whole point of hidden gems. they are not there to be seen.

If final letters were real, all managers saw one and the same. But it is not so. Scouting is comparable with the soccer match (with the unchanged game-settings of both managers), which can be completed with different results.

Thank you for replying and not being ignorant as you usually are. It's a progress, not the one I would prefer, but, eventually we'll come to the same side.

I get the point of hidden gems, but I dont see any sense in having them on draft. Hope you get my point.

Apparently you do poorly understand the appointment the phenomenon of the hidden gems.

I understand the point of hidden, what I don't understand is sense of "intrigue remaining until the end of draft".

If one sends scouts to local arenas, I think they must somehow see those "hidden" talents, just as they recognize values A, B, C, D. The more accurate scouts and andvanced facility a GM has, the bigger the chances of recognizing a hidden gem.

Vlady once stated, that Datsyuk and Zetterberg were drafted this way. Yeah right, Red Wings' scouts made a lot of trips to Europe, just to recognize D players and then made a suggestion to club to draft "recreational players".

Remove HG or show them:
-to those who have 100% scouting efficiency, maxed facility,
-or reveal them after certain rounds (if there is a need for the later rounds to be interesting for pulling),
-...

It's a game, hidden gems are there for a bit of surprise.... If you want to compare it to real world, think of them like the half-time entertainment. Just a bit of fun.

This is not the real world, it's a game. Here must be supported specific mechanisms. And in this case it's done.
I understand that you are offering something that profitable to you, but "hidden gems" in the first place for the less developed teams, sorry. Actually you ask for more "A" for the teams with maximum facilities with staff.

Half-time entertainment is for visitor, in this case noone has fun. Nor virtual spectators nor me as GM.

What do you mean "HG are for less developed teams in the first place", when everybody (less or more developed teams) has the same chances of (not) pulling a gem?

Draft was implemented to make the game more interesting. The number of picks rewards a GM for his investment in facilities (we know that it costs a lot). So why shouldnt we reward them (yes, including me) with an option of seeing gems? And also encourage less developed teams to invest more in staff/facilities?
