Anyway, today I got a good reason for the new draft, this nice player Adi Ufholz ... Never want to have such a superpull again at the end of the season. It's frustrating really...

My last post was a bit ironic, answering canucks last post, which was also not very serious. So of course this player is not actually a good reason for a draft, I was just a bit frustrated that I was pulling the nice guy at the very end of a season. So much for that.

But, there is also something behind my irony. It is planned, as was earlier announced, that the players from the last draft appear on the first day of the new season (I hope this is still planned). So, instead of having possibly great pulls in the last four weeks of the season, which are less useful, there may appear some nice players directly at the start of the season. This is a point that I think not many people have considered yet. And it is one of the reasons why I say, give the new system a try before condemning it totally.

I hope you get my point now. (And btw, I'm not 100% pro draft, as can be seen by earlier posts from me, but I just think the new system could be better and worth it.)

Draft is the worst thing ever..... Until you get a great A+ player, and then it's the best thing ever.

Just got that A+ recently so I think it's awesome! looking forward to the changes as the academy pulls at the end of the season are usually a waste of time.

ok, sorry for language but I still think that one month without pulling rookies is too much time, now the things are in some balance ...you pull rookie every 2 weeks and every 2 weeks pull players from the draft ...and you have more variation of the position you will have to choose from the draft .....the only change needed was B anc C players to be better and A and A+ to be more in the players from the draft ....and the time for the draft to be more precisely choosen

Just think, next year, the worst pull from your SA will happen with 4 weeks in the season left to go!

Yep. And the trophies should be on the profil page of the national team to see it at first glance and not hidden on the history page

Just some additions:

- This game has been (until this draft issue) uncomfortable for non-pro and/or no-money players but still it has been fair. Some of us waited a week to get some new players. This has been or will be changed considerably. The problem is not the change itself, or it is a good or bad idea but the unfairness which leads to churns. That definetely affects both quality and the joy of this game even for pro players, and that is the problem.

- The consistency of this game has been violated. The game was based on the idea: you can do anything anytime within a day, you are your own time manager. This logic has been altered by this kind of draft which assumes to be online at a specific time (or pay like hell). I can spare time for this game in almost any day, but I will not change the timetable of my family for me being online because of any game (and imho it is a really bad message from the developers to do so). Then again: change will affect the joy of the game; we are on a road from a free to a non-free game.

- Quality is just a side of a coin. Draft changes still do not take into account the overall value of a player. For example, you can spend all of your money to get an A+ player which turns out to be a 180, other not-worth-a-shot player. Currently you can have a high valued high quality, high valued low quality, low valued any quality player. You have a trade-off, you decide how you deal with it. You can even have three high-quality but differently valued players. Draft limits you there: you might have at most one quality player (14-22 draft rounds will be taken between two own rounds) and one or more non-quality players with any value points. If there is no quality player (as for the most of the free players) you got nothing but garbage.

You can't give teams with lvl 3 SA 400 OR players. You have to maintain the balance with money invested and value out. Otherwise, why bother investing in the SA?

If its ONLY two drafts / season....

That could I take... 2 times everybody should have same chanses to get a worldclass player.

All other times SA could make sense...
