As for your definition of hypocrite, you NOT running for a NT GM position and taking a new manager as an assistant while constantly whining FOR others to do so does in fact make you a hypocrite. You hypocrite.

I’m going to guess your response will be some BS about running the Dutch team, but you didn’t have to run again for it. You could’ve run for Canada U20. But you didn’t, so you should probably just shut up about it already. Guess you care more about the Dutch team than the Canadian ones.

Also, I’m not part of the “national team mafia”. I’ve never run a national hockey team.

I'm all for accountability, but I'm not sure I agree with that. The insanely fast derby of schedule making right after the elections is not clearly stated anywhere in the guide. It is entirely possible he missed on it. The problem is that trying to do your schedule a few days or week later is a huge struggle as mostly inactive teams are left with spots open, so it's hard to get matchups. It is definitely a rough way to start managing the NT. If zodiac would like some help, I can give a hand. Just send me a message mate and we'll see what we can do with this situation.

Call me old fashioned or maybe just a wily veteran , but I have never taken any job without finding out what my list of responsibilities entailed.
If it was not offered, as it should be, I made a point of asking someone who would know.
With all the teams that I am "hoarding", I make a point of noting on my personal calendar that friendly scheduling should be done as soon as possible after midnight on that first day to make it easier.!
The longer you wait the harder it becomes.!

Hey y'all, I'll run the U20 or serve as anyone's assistant next year. I have no idea what's involved with running a NT so I could use a mentor if this pans out.

If this pans out, I can help you with player selection as I have them all scouted. I can also help you with some of the strategies and differences with running a national team compared to running a regular team.

Sounds good. It's a fun thing to run a junior NT as the playing field is a little more leveled. It's interesting to try different ideas to try to gain an advantage.

I am not quite understanding your reluctance to do anything to help this situation. At least put in the list of possible 17 year old players that I sent you, so that they can play in the tournament and at least gain themselves some chemistry for next season.!! The minimal team points that we can collect this season will affect our overall ranking for the next four years.!!!

Only a manager can add/cut players.! It is too late to make cuts, but players can still be added. I sent a list of recommended adds along with instructions on how to do it. No response, and yet he is still signing into his account daily. Because we have only 15 players on the roster, we will forfeit every tournament game. Team world rankings are calculated by adding 100% of last year, 75% of the year before, 50% of the year before that, and 25% of the year before that. If one of those numbers is "0", it hurts our overall world team standing for at least four years. I, and others are more than willing to help, but no one can do anything until players are added.!!! If he didn't want to do the job, he should not have run for the position.! If he doesn't know how, there are plenty of managers around to assist him.!! Maybe even paulroedb.!!
