Oh no! My highest paid player is going from 3+k/day to 5+k/day! Ahhhh! Oh wait. Staff make over 100k/day on my team. It's all good!

I know, I find that just wrong.
I have two staff in market now that I should keep, but can't justify the 80-100k I'm spending a day on them.

Yeah, i sold at a few staff last season who were all earning stupid amounts of money.

I've got a 51 staff member on the market with an avQ of 70; I can't justify paying a back-up coach more than my all-star players.

If I had a 16 year old with an avQ of 70, he wouldn't hit the market for a long, long time.

My staff I placed on the market accidently.
I calculated their influence wrong and it will probably cost me long term.
They are my marketing staff with skills at 70+ and 80+
I figure they'll make me more in general sponsorship than they'll cost me in salary, but that revelation came after they were on market.

Best players are still very young. No one has seen what those salaries gonna be for them when they are 25yo or more. Maybe salaries are growing exponential and 1600overall players are taking millions per week.

Except CL drops are players don't look like they can train that well after 25.

Surely it is. There are 112 days in a season. The best training facilities train players almost 2 points per day so let's say the talented ones get almost 200 overall points per season. Players train effectively still at 4/6 career length which may last up to 5-6 years (seasons) and players are trained after that too. You can count with that. Of course these are just mostly guesses, but I wouldn't be too surprised if this comes true.

They (developers) have already changed twice the calculations methods about the salaries so I think (or I hope) they have some idea what's coming and is the current system okay.

I agree. Certainly obtainable. New SA pulls coming in with training at lvl 12+ will see insane OR as they will train 1-2/day or more for a solid 5-6 seasons. Right there is over 1000 OR. Add into that their original OR when they were pulled and some seasons at level 4 and lower CL and you have it. There are players with 6 seasons in the game and still at 5/6 CL. Certainly obtainable. Scares me as I doubt I'll get those players tho

Yup. Hopefully, salaries will be an issue that will be dealt with in proper time. Or adjusted down the road.
It's unreal to have basic staff which cost, as a whole, three time my whole team.

In time players salaries will level with staff. The issue now is, profits>>costs for most teams. The game will really get interesting when different strategies are applied as teams start to have to balance the books. I look forward (very much) to that!

Me too Canucks. The influx of money is just huge these days.

Haha... well... my daily expenses are almost a mil/day. Considering I get 11mil/week between the the two sponsors... it's hard to make any cash.

You're also carrying 45 players and 26 staff.
I'm carrying 28 players and 23 staff (two are on market). I'm paying out 731k a day. And I'm only making 9 mill combined from sponsors.

This game isn't designed to make money per week, all revenue comes from the sponsors. My ticket sales don't even cover two days of expenses, which is sad considering I get one home game every 4.66 days.

Ya I'm unloading all prime $ staff once my fee drops for staff sales too.
