Why should it be my fault for trying to Update my arena? You had your chance to have the game as a Home Game, but you wanted to change it so that I was the Home Team.

My Updates to my Arena is in no way keeping you from getting any money, its just that when I made the decission to Update my arena, just happen to take place at this time of the season. Plus, the League Home Game I have tomarrow is against a Team Noname, so since I am not going to get much for money during a game against a No Manager Team, why should I have to wait on updating my Arena?

Dude, you cost yourself 40k as well, at minimum ... so I'm not sure this is how to prove how smart you are for upgrading your arena, as the income from friendlies is shared.

dude, if I was really into making money off having a Friendly Game, then you would be correct and if that is what you want is to break even, then maybe you should have not signed up to be in this tournament and just found teams to fill your days for Friendlies that would help you make money.

I think he should turn to pimpin... I hear that's where the money's at. The thing is I hear it 'aint easy bein one :/

There are really only two reasons to play friendlies, build OTR, and bring in cash.

I know the stadiums have to get upgraded, and I think you made a great choice for doing it this week, ... and no, I don't think you should base your decision to alter your arena around friendly matches.

However, if I personally had friendlies on my book that would be more profitable on away ice due to some mass construction, I'd email the guy and move it to away ice to be considerate to him and smart about my own finances.

Here's another way to look at it ... It is generally regarded to be impolite to cancel a friendly with no notice, right? Why ... because of the opportunity cost.

At least when that happens your players train at their maximum that night.

POs are best of 3?

If you guys want to do Best of 3, thats fine. Make sure the games are played as Playoff Friendlies, so there is a out right winner at the end of the game.

If there is room, my lousy III.1 team would like to be placed on the waiting list for a US team. Of course I don't always plan to be a Div III team, but I like the idea of a tournament and filling friendlies to train up my players.

By the way, I'm in for next season as well. I'd rather play some American folk.

I'd be interested in being in next seasons as well, would we want to try and organize it as a credit tournament (with no entry fee of course) to make scheduling easier?
