never thought he would score the winner, lol. That is what I call an added bonus. BTW like the size of your stadium. How often you upgrading at the moment? I am doing the Triple-floor multi-purpose seating but only 1000 seats an update about once every season give or take. Added to this I am still trying to keep my training facility improved (though right now with that new D that improvement is on hold)...

Every couple of seasons. I've been going for the max so I don't waste money on in between sizes. Next on my list though is my sports academy and training facility. I've had to sell off good players to do it after training them forever... but it doesn't seem to be hurting my record!

Cool, yeah I am trying to do the 1000 every season or so. Figure the 2500 is not really feasible at the moment and unlike the other seating I do not take a financial hit at going 1000 and then the extra 1500 when I have the coin...

I was going to go that way but I looked at the accumulated time to build each and decided just to go the distance right away

Ah, I don't have the cash flow for that so figured would go the 1000 route. Plus if I did have the cash would just double up on the amount I did until all parts A through H are at 1000. Good game eh

So close! You're going to finish 1 put ahead of me now lol I shouldn't have taken it so easy in the first part of the season but thought I'd save energy for the playoffs lol

Guess you two will have to settle things in the playoffs.

It'll have to be in the semis this time around. We're becoming forever rivals, eh Falconspeed?

Anyone have any playoff predictions for our league? Bold or otherwise?
I figure the best I can do is a 13th place finish and I think I might be playing the Patriots for that spot if all unfolds as I expect.

Playoff predictions:

-Kenora Thistles over LesCinGLER
not even close, Kenora is in a league of their own and dominates every other team in the league

-Cliffstone Bears over Atlanta Knights
Cliffstone is powerful and though traded their top player, and the leading scorer in the league midseason, Mojmír Rakoncai is only so good a goalie, especially when he does not have the defense he needs. Expect James Rivers to get pummeled a ton by the big boys on the Bears.

-TheBeers over Surrey Jesters.
This one is really tough to call as both teams are really quality notched franchises. Natalino Continhi is the top netminder for the Jesters but after him the overall level of players drops while recent veteran acquisition Michal Rób should lead theBeers to victory.

-Printemps over Arctic Wolves.
Printemps if they had played top level hockey all season would be #2 without question but they did not go all out for most of the season. Expect them to go full tilt in the playoffs and are my pick to win it all IF they make it to the final.

Hey RockinRol, man I hope you beat TheBeers as they are tough and I would prefer to face you in the second round than get Printemps who will probably dominate my team.

I was so stoked when I got ahead of you near the end of the season as though Atlanta is not a pushover, TheBeers are MUCH tougher. I don't even have their top guy scouted yet as he was a midseason acquisition and I have focused more on scouting Arctic as with him coming down this season I had no info on him (coupled with my loss to him early this season, I really focused on getting my info on him).

If you make it through to the second round it will make things quite interesting as I might end up winning it all with Kenora and Printemps going to war in the other divisional semi.

CSOmega, pretty sure you get benteam† which as a bot means an easy first rounder for you, lol. Save your energy for the second round assuming you followed my advice and picked up some market players...else they will be equal to your club as they have a bunch of high 400s overall skill level players...

Actually, I have Posse in first round. Benteam is a likely second round opponent for me though.

At the moment, the talent gap between #12 and #13 is sizable so no one from #13 to #16 is likely to win their match ups in round 1. But, my team has energy to burn as I joined the league only 4 weeks ago, so we can go all out from here to the end. We'll see if that's enough to let me win 2 of 3 rounds in these playoffs.

Good luck to you, Falconspeed, and to RockinRol as well. You've both got some stiff competition, but I'd like to see you two go another round here. I wouldn't be surprised to see either of you fighting for the playoff title in two weeks.

I got the match up I hoped for I've had their number for a few seasons. Knights have been my tougher match up. Second round.. we'll see! It was close. Might come down to coaching
