A lot closer than expected given the talent difference in a few key areas. But my guys tend to give me a few pleasant surprises.

Experience plays a lot into it. Most of my guys that played are 15-17 yrs old with 1 for experience. Figure I'll get them some experience so they're ready for the show

Yeah. I'm gonna do the same as my young players hit a certain stat level. I'll slot them in as scratches and let them play in friendly matches to gain some experience.

I think I might tear my team apart for cash after this season.. I need cash to build more seats and facilities and it's just not coming fast enough.

Unless there are major changes we are looking at essentially the standings at the end of the season. I don't see there being much change.

In that case, there will be an exciting competition for 7th-10th.

I am in the mode of doing that (going more cash and dumping players as a result). Dumping high salary players and getting similar skills for less salary. I figure when I go to tier 2 I will be slaughtered by the competition so figure might as well go more cash now though right now am limiting that theory to just my oldest players (assuming I have replacements).

My defense is the first overall, and once I dump Tolic later today that will leave me with my oldest defender being 28.

I figure that will give me at least until the summer when I have to dump him.

With offense that is another matter. At centre my oldest is 27 (and he is a 4th line centre so I might dump him anyhow) so I am fine there.

Winger is a concern though. My top 3 wingers are 30, 28, 28. The 28 year olds I can hang onto a bit longer, but the 30 year old I want to dump now, just finding a replacement for him is difficult without spending too much...

Tolic is mine Exactly what I wanted. A higher rating D that can play both sides.

The not spending much part is hard. Especially for young guys with talent. People are willing to pay SO much and I'm over here like, "I'll just spend that on facilities and grow my own youth." Lol

Congrats on getting Tolic. I lost $5M on him over 2 seasons but for me the bonus is I lose his salary and have 3 players who though are not as good, definitely keep my D line top level.

Thank you! I plan to keep him until the end of his contract and then release him. I have a lot of up and coming defenseman in my youth program

Anyone have an idea how Burning Candy is in 9th? Figure they should be better than Rousey at the very least...
