Just realized Scorpion Noir has improved drastically since last season so might not just be your team and mine in the final...

I'm sure we will each pick up a guy here and a guy there this season Keep on top of the opposition. I'm looking for RW, RD and LD

Not really looking anymore, except maybe for a third goalie but I find my 3rd stringer has a low salary so on the fence about that. I figure if I have both top 2 go down then I will buy quickly and dump the current guy. Hoping he eventually pans out as he has 5 longevity, just he is SOOOOOO bad I hate using him in exhibitions, lolrofl

Five teams now, seems I have been knocking a bunch off their perch, lol

Rousey just got another player, OR 1222 for only 1.6M, wonder how much cash he has and what is wrong with the player he got or how he managed to get such a high OR player so young for so cheap (and how I missed him if he is good, lol)...

I may be in a fight just to get home ice advantage in the playoffs, eh?

Top 3 should be Cliffstone, Printemps, and Surrey in that order I suspect. After that is where it becomes interesting. Scorpion went out and got a ton of vets which I find interesting as this might give him 4th overall. Rousey just picked up another player today but the OR of that player is 770 and since he is 20, I figure Rousey is just trying to get young players with high longevity (this guy has level 5 longevity) for cheap. Do not see them breaking top 4 at all and not even top 8. Atlanta is stronger this season though why they went for a 36 year old is puzzling. I guess they wanted to win, but just one? Anyhow figure they will come 5th though they could make it to 4th or even 3rd depending on what they get down the stretch. Arctic is another team that is definitely top 8 though I only see them going as high as 6th as I deem Atlanta and Scorpion better (though Scorpion is very tough to call IMO as their team is aging with each and every game). Posse has improved and should come top 8, maybe 7th though if Arctic does not get FAs this season and Posse does then figure Posse will come 6th and Arctic 7th. Burning Candy has 8th I figure. Will be honest, I have not scouted any of their players yet but just looking at their OR they should make it to the playoffs assuming no one else goes on a spending spree.

Position 9-13 will be close. I figure Rousey, Scarborough Chaotics, British, xpress, and Ontario Rifles are all close. Each has a few good players (think like 5 tops excluding Chaotics which have a bunch though their bunch are around 200 OR lower than the other 4 teams top 5).

Rousey looks like they are rebuilding, and Rifles have been rebuilding for a while. British had a fire sale last season I believe so I think they are likewise getting their arena and facilities in order. That leaves xpress and Chaotics to battle for 9th. I figure Chaotics if they get a few FAs could break 8th. Xpress is another unknown for me, nothing scouted so on first glance it appears they have crap for goalies which if that is the case means they just need pick up a good one and might jump to 8th.

Playoffs I figure Printemps, Surrey, Cliffstone make it through to round 2. I think Scorpion should be out of gas by then however and so Atlanta will get through as well.

I am still looking for another D, though probably 4th line so that should strengthen my D a tad.

Will be fun to see how close I come in my predictions at seasons end.

Well I'm going to have an interesting season. I need to find the right fit of vets but cleaning out the old vets and making room for young guys... but I should be where I want to be come playoffs.

Knights just upset Printemps today in the SO.

I got three 30 year olds which I will have to look to move sooner or later, just 2 are my best winger and best defender so kind of torn on when

3rd guy is my 3rd best defender...

Actually just looked at the age of my guys.

30 = 3
28 = 3
27 = 6
26 = 3
25 = 3
24 = 6
under = crap excluding one

How it stands now in say 2 summers if I do nothing will have to do a complete overall, plus a summer after that will have to do the same thing. Will be interesting. By then though figure I will have bumped up to tier 2 and be blasted back down to tier 3 so things will be different. Hopefully will have a 10k stadium by them.

Once I get another young defender will probably look to dump one of the 30 year olds (a defender ranked 3rd on my depth chart).

Just picked up a RFA but have to wait to see if his team will match my offer or not, hoping not as if that is the case probably say bye bye to Uhlir, lol

Heh. Thanks to my schedule, my team looks like one of the best ones in this division.

I just hope that I can win the next three games so that the streak can be broken in appropriate fashion.

lol yep noticed that you do not have an OR higher than 1000 and yet you are tied with me for first. Awesome job, keep up the good work, well except when you play me.

Hey Rockin, congrats on your dump of Dennis Boothroyd to Scorpion for 2M. Personally I think Scorpion overpaid as he has no tech and for me is a penalty liability...

Thanks! All his defensive stats are great, but that's it. Was time to move him out for guys with offensive AND defensive abilities. Couldn't believe I got that much for him! Didn't notice it was Scorpion until you said something lol
