I also look at the qualities of the attributes I will be training, it was just a generalization because my post was already 2 pages long. I've mentioned in the prospects thread, I usually only keep the exceptional players from my academy. 75% AvQ + with the primary, secondary, shooting, and tech (if not a secondary attribute, ie D-man) 70%+, and even prefer that my forwards have at least a trainable quality on their defensive attribute. Thats why I have so few canadians on my roster right now.

I think I might give 1 SD with high youth and low player training a go. Maybe try to find a balance so I'm losing some in OR to try and keep the salary at or lower than what I have in.
