strangely, I finished worse in reg season and playoffs, and got a slight raise ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I'm up by about 40M probably due to CWC qualification...but the biggest raise is in MS up by 175M. Of course that's cuz I went up from 7500 to 20000 seats in my arena
I just discovered I also qualified for CWC, I haven't been checking in as much lately, lol
I got a decrease despite finishing the highest (3rd) I ever have plus making the ChL for the first time (normally CWC).
After firing my temps to tie me over until after my camp was done, I am left with one 6/6 player. Never thought I'd see the day.

Oof, not a great start to my campaign. Feeling the pinch of selling my most veteran players I suspect.
As a top-4 team, having just played the other teams I consider in that same category, it is a little alarming to have lost all three by a combined score of 30-5. Not sure if that speaks to weaknesses in my club, or, is a window into the disparity of the hockey engine.
Getting rid of your top veterans it definitely shows your a step behind the top 3 and alot closer to the 5-6 teams that would being chasing you for top 4
On another note, forgot to change tactics from NC and played VL. Got away with it and got a win anyways against a decent team...phew

To be fair, my decision to sell them was to not have young stars rotting on the bench. Players like Christian Benoit should be getting playing time if they're ever going to fully develop. I hope, that by playing them, they'll have the Exp to put them over the top when the other top teams have to replace their current lineup.

I thought it was smart to let the youngsters play and try to win later.
Then again I thought buying that top line of yours wasn't a great move since it didn't put u over the top anyways(although got u closer)

Yea, I shouldn't have in hindsight but I thought I was close to getting there. Last season I was 1 win from the league final. They did help me get farther in the CWC (semi-final) but they cost way too much. Bought high, sold low, and it will likely cost me for some time now.
JCB just became a free agent. Now there's someone who would put you over the top...

I wish it were possible to build a 4th line like NYI's 4th line. But, PPM's engine doesn't work that way. If only...
