Well u started season 1 and I started season 17 so

Should have played game 3 vs. Les Sang differently. By winning and finishing third I went from the CWC (where I'd be in the top-10% of teams likely) to the ChL (where I am mid-pack). Gained 4 OTR in one game, but a lot of lost potential OTR next season.
Was wondering if u were going to throw that game
I thought top-2 only made ChL. I don't make a habit of throwing games. But I could have left my tactics as they were and not adjusted. Ah well, will be a good test for my lads. Now to figure out how to allocate my energy.
Three 6/6 A+ players taken in the first round... 3, 4 and 7. Bodes well for our NT if the teams can train them well (TFs 14, 15, 15).

The home ice advantage is definitely too big in my opinion, but I guess everyone gets the same amount of home games
I had a home game today. Out shot the other team by more than double. Lost in shootout to a team ranked slightly lower than me on all facets...
In fairness, only your game was an even game. The others had a newer team against an older developed team. But yes, I don't think any team should go 30-8 (~80%), that'd be like winning 65 games in the NHL (let alone 36-2 like TMO did). The Caps this year were on fire and only won 56 games (<70%).
Finished higher in reg season and playoffs than last season and got a pay decrease in gen sponsor. Great
Technically I'm as new a team as it gets ☺
