My top scorer has 24 primary but ~50 shot and 30+ tech. He doesn't shoot as much as I'd like... but his OFF-Q Is <40 so not much point in training it. Thanks for posting this.

So they are working essentially a 4:3:2:1 ratio then (Primary:Large:Medium:Small Influence)...

I saw some similar ratios, but who knows on what assumptions they're based? Some say 4-3-2-1, some others 6-4-3-2, some alt combinations also around there. + It might depend on player's position or not.

I personally try to keep it simple, otherwise this kind of ratios per position is a perfect nightmare to optimize training on a day to day basis lol

Ya I consider Qs too. I also like to have more speed down the wings then the ratio might call for. If a player has a good shot I train his tech up beyond the ratio too. That kinda stuff. It is something to aim for. I do think it is something like 4:A:B:2 where 4>A>B>2 but that's just me.

On Counter tactics in football: they exist though they do not work on the same system as hockey, so they are not as obvious. Each tactical choice you make: aggression level, attacking style, defending style, offside trap use, may or may not suit your team when compared to the other, and their choices come in to play also. They have a huge influence on the game.

Canucks, I know that you have some theories about secondaries (as I do), but like you I don't want to give away all my secrets. I will say this though: people may be too wrapped up in ratios.

I can't find this post but I asked recently on a forum something like:
"Am I right thinking than soccer is different from hockey in a sense that it's better to focus on its own team compared to hockey where it's better to focus on your opponent?" and Vlady answered "you're right".

I take it as an indication counter tactics are weak at best in soccer. I am under the impression it will be the same for hockey from next season. Too boring to just guest your opponent's next choice and you win.

In terms of Training and Regeneration Facility development, the following are the most advanced in Canada:

16 levels completed: NK Divlje, Ontario Alpha Particles, Grass Monkeys, The Drillers

15 levels completed with both under construction: Muffin Fighters, Vancouver FC, Hamilton Thunder, Cheetarian, Brutal Deluxe, Kenora Stingers, The Smooth Dolphins, Out of Control

Not sure you are factually correct. I have 16 complete and will start 17 tomorrow.

You are correct but I focus trainibg and sports academy which I consider as important as regeneration.

Missed me there, I will be at 16 in 15 days, already at 8 training and close to 8 in regeneration

Yeah, there's about a half dozen teams in the same boat as you. With 15 levels complete and 1 under construction.

I have level 8 traning done now, Level 8 SA finishes tomorrow and level 8 regen in two weeks. Soon level 9 training starts

I have 8 SA and 8 Training done. Also at 6 Regen.

Level 9 SA has started. 33 days left. I can start level 9 training in 1 week with 2 home games too.

Level 8 Regen done in 3 days, Level 9 Training done in 5 days. Taking a loan out so both will be upgraded again on Friday
