I think we all can agree that the ultimate goal for this team is success at the World Cup, which occurs at the end of next season.

If that is the case, then we need better forward thinking right now.
Our star players (Frenette, Todd, Kenny, etc.) need to start the WC tournament with maximum chemistry and maximum energy. We can't afford to use up their valuable energy in the qualifying games next season.
It's time right now to start getting our second wave of players (the ones that will be first subs on the WC team) NT chemistry. Get these guys some chemistry now so we can go into the WC with more depth, more energy, and more experience.

We should be using this current tournament to help us prepare for next years World Cup. We don't need to be fielding our 100 chem players (when we have 20 something 0 chem players riding pine) each and every game.

Thoughts?

Well said, but first we need to qualify before we can start saving energy, as soon we secure a spot in the first 4 in our group we can start saving energy.

We aren't at 100 chem yet. 80 for our top guys. That means probably about 4 more games until they reach 100.

Still you can mix them with some of the 0 Chem, better then put all 0 chem players.

Why are you so against doing what is best for this team?
Maybe I'm coming across as critical and it's getting your back up. We have 17 more games to get our starting 11 to 100 chem,thats plenty of time. Players get cards, they get injured, they loose energy. We need more than 11 players ready to go for the WC. You've put us behind the eight ball with your insistence of running with only 11, its time to adjust.

Also, your starting 11 are sitting somewhere around 87 in energy level, all the other guys are at 100. I don't think there will be any drop off in team performance.

Just a friendly today, We almost got 11 guys to 100 chem, I will start rotating in players on the fringe just in case the next GM wants to use some different players, they won't have to work their way up from 0 chem.

Does anyone have an interesting side forward to be cosidered for our NT?
Just want to see if we have any options there.
I just want to remind everyone about changes in match engine for the next season.

"Ratings and performances of poorly trained players will go down significantly. The current system allows a little too much variety and players who only practice their primary attribute (or don't practice it enough) are still capable of performing well. I can assure you that there is no need to worry if you train your players reasonably. A certain variation in training will still be allowed."

I have one. His Qs are phenomenal, he is 15 and 6/6 but OR is a little low. Certainly not able to crack the lineup BUT in a few seasons he'd be a very potent offensive threat.

Are you going to train him for that position?

Gerald Doran in my team, RF. He's on the best career path. Typically rated 14 in games.

Isaac Laroche used to be a side forward who could play either side but I converted him to centre forward when side forwards were shunned by team Canada. I could convert him back but his longevity is very likely to drop this season anyway.
