Also, I never thought I would be rooting for a Brazilian team, but I REALLY wanted Boca to loose to COrinthians... That game was BS! Carlos Amarilla is by far the single worst referee I've ever seen: 1 CLEAR PENALTY and then a goal that was CLEARLY NOT offside was not awarded... COrinthians should have started up 2-0. Then there was the other goal that was not awarded, which was also BS bc that was NOT a foul... And then there's Pato, the single most OVERRATED striker of all time, HE SUCKS! I can't believe they pay him millions to miss a goal with the open goal (the even worst part is that after he got rid of the goalie and missed the ball when he tries to shoot, he FALLS and hits the ball out of bounds, when his teammate was trying to get to it! LOL HE IS S***!)

Ha, I'm not playing handball... WHY WOULD I WANT A DAMN HANDBALL TEAM?!?!

You will want to play Handball because it will take 3 years or more for Basketball to be available

I agree that the best time to join a new sport is when it starts, but why did they do handball first, before other much more popular sports like basketball, rugby, F1, etc... handball just seems kind of random, lol

because it is popular in europe and the site developers are europeans.

and more .. although handball is not the most popular in europe or anywhere in the world, how many handball similators have you ever seen?

Question about handball. I tried to read up on it but got a little confused. Is it normal to have the same guys playing offense and defense. Not trying to steal strategies. Just don't know if I'm under utilizing my team

Really? I thought basketball was really popular in Europe... For example in FIBA's international rankings, after the US which is first obviously, there's Spain, Argentina, Greece, Lithuania, Russia, Turkey, France, Brazil, Australia, China, Serbia, Germany, Slovenia.
Notice most of these teams are European (9 out of the top 14 are Europeans!! And also, If I'm not mistaken the developers and a massive amount of users are from Serbia and Slovenia. Besides two other nations where this game is very popular are Argentina (3 in basketball), Germany (13), and Brasil (9)

The point is that out of the users and their nationalities who play this game, if I were a developer I would get crakin' on bball asap... It would perform VERY, VERY well

After basketball, some other sports that would do very well are rugby, which is very popular in Europe, as far as I know (I love rugby, I hope they decide to do it soon!), tennis (but they already made Tennis Duel), F1... Yet there are some sports on their to-do list that make no sense to me (like biathlon, volleyball, and tennis, why make another one when they already made tennis duel??)

I think it'll be a hit in the sense of how many users they get, since most of the people who're playing hockey and/or soccer will be joining handball just for the sake of joining in the first season, but I doubt most of these people will join it for being their favorite spot.

Like in Argentina, for example, I never once in my life saw an ice hockey arena, or pucks/goals/sticks in a store... basically, ice hockey just about doesn't exist in Argentina... Yet in this game there're TONS of people from Argentina with hockey teams! I suspect most of the handball teams will be similar... They joined the game because soccer and/or hockey are their favorite sports, but then, just to join in season 1 they play handball, a sport most of them has never played besides in gym class xD

basketball is sure big as also rugby as you mentioned. There are already baskteball games out there. Rugby i am not sure as i dont follow lol.

problem with ppm is that it takes too much time to develop a new game. If it ddint take that long we would not really care.

when i was young, handball were my favorite sports. it is fun to watch (and play).

in many countries what really makes things popular is tv coverage.

in brazil, volleyball was not really popular but when the biggest tv started showing games it soon became one of the most popular sport.

handball may not be popular, but with ppm building it, many will be at least curious about (as we already seen some watching a few games to see how it is)

i dont mind they building the handball now, but they do need to build basktball next as it is very popular in many if not all countries.

Pshh, forget basketball, they need to do biathlon next. Where else am I gonna find an in-depth team management simulator for skiin'-and-shootin'?!?
