Great job this year buddy! You kept the Swiss U20 in the top league playing a lot of 19yo! That's a great accomplishment! Getting promoted and then not relegating is a great job!

I have seen only 4 nominated Players with an Age of 19 ??

yes.. bad argument.. this year, there were not so many good players... and so i couldnt include much 19 yo because they are a bit weaker and less experienced than players of 20 years old..
i could have include 2 more 19 yo players.. BUT once you have found a good line up, you cannot make them play at the end of season.. you have to keep the chemistry up.. and that's the only regret i have for the season...!
it will change next season because the team will be more talented!

I agree and think the actual U18 had a good Performance. Lets hope that they are competitive after the U20 Upgrade.

the other problem is that the other good 19 yo were centers.. and we already had very solid 20 yo centers...
that's another problem... if you have 6 good left defensors and only 2 good righ defensmen... or if you have 4 solid 20yo centers.. do you make the 19 yo play?
Iwth the situation of the players.. i decided not to...

For next season, if you check well, the future is not from the U-18.. Sorry to say but 90% of the strong 18yo are already 5/6... That is no future for the A Team.. and so no future for the U-20.. If i am re elected, i'll have to take decisions.. and my decisions are made for the best of the A Team!

Okay, this a longterm strategy. It is a good thing to disucuss this at the start of a season with all Swiss National Coaches.

You have more detailled Informations about the Players. A New Coach have to evaluate this First. The Players Table of the national Teams does not show all Data.

U-20 is a pre A national team.. I just want to stay in top division.. the rest is development for the senior team! Every beginning of season, i stay in touch with the A national coach.. to give him the name of the future international players..
