So I'm just curious bt how much is everyone spending on their facilities, staff, players, and arena right now? I am currently sitting at 399,984 per day in regualer expenses.
Yeah, I'm right between you two. But I have a large chunk (about 1/3 of my expenses) that's going towards arena upkeep every day.
If you count construction that's already underway (ie. future liabilities - daily expenses that WILL kick in at some point later), my number comes in just over 600k/day. About half of that will be arena expense though (since i'm building my second 2500 seat upgrade now).
*Note* I didn't include the daily bonus in my expenses here. Because it's income.

Man... Outsider's daily expenses (including current construction), will be close to $1M a day within just about 2 months. All of his construction will be finished within 67 days.
That's about $112M a season. Wow.

*Note* Expenses don't include income... it doesn't matter how much income covers an expense, once you add income to expenses, it ceases to be an expense. By definition.
Just sayin'
I mean, under the same thought process, you're saying that could incorporate your sponsorship income, and have negative expenses? No.

I'm at 410,176 per day, with 70% of that going towards facilities.
... and 0.005% of it going towards the arena right?
Haha... i swear, you and I have completely opposite strategies.
Given that you kicked all of our butts last season in II.1, I'm thinking your strategy is working for you pretty well so far.

0.004% actually. Going arena has less risk than going SA, but also does not have the high reward ceiling of going SA.
I'll be improving my arena slowly this season and hoping for a star player from the SA while I have an advantage there.

I think at this point TRF is more important than SPA. I highly doubt that someone will pull a 400 OR player that will get a starting spot on the roster. Now lot's of teams have a few 400 OR players and it will come down to TR.
It's a value proposition. TF > SA in terms of value added and cost (initial and maintenance). To compete long-term, TF is essentially required. SA can be avoided more if you have time to play the market (I typically do not).
Well SPA has been good to me so far, so in 3 weeks i will start building level 13, so that i won't be too far away from you.
You're definitely right. More risk = more reward.
Outsider does make a decent point though. Is the value added of that slightly better SA worth forgoing the more conservative growth strategy...
I don't have a quantitative answer for that. I'd like to think that my modest SA 11 has been doing pretty well compared to the SA 12s out there. But it's all RNG, so who knows...

LOL I just realized I never shared:
Players: 23%
Staff: 15%
Facilities: 42%
Arena: 20%

has anyone noticed that vandals and extra repairs for facilities happen pretty regularly?
I've had both "events" happen within a day or 2 of each other every 12-16 days for the last 2 months.
Does anyone else have it/them with that much regularity?
