4 in a half a season, talk about some luck for you and the team.

We had a great start to the second half of the World cup qualification matches. 5-0 over Venezuela who is tied for sixth right now. Kane and Mercier combined for three goals and five points. We also had a great game from our defense with the other two goals. Next week we have Estonia who is tied with Venezuela with five points.

This win moves us to within three points of top spot and gives us 14 points.

With our second consecutive win including the last friendly we move to 40th in the season 25 ranking of countries with 939 pts this season and 3886 overall.

We had a good but undisciplined game beating Estonia 2-0 at home. Mercier scored 9 minutes in and then the yellows flew, five to be exact. With the win we moved into a second place tie at 17 points one behind the leader Hungary.

Disappointing 1-0 loss to Kazakhstan. Three of the easier points lost to bad tactics. Right now we are in a tie for third with the toughest match yet versus number one Hungary.

After a bad game we got a lucky break that Hungary went in conserving energy and let us come away with a very important point. Next we have a good Poland team sitting at number two in the group.

Kane scored two, Power stopped the rest and we won a huge game versus Poland and locked us into a three way tie for second with 21 points 1 win back of top spot. We have our third straight game agains a top team, playing Slovakia.

We scraped out a draw versus Slovakia thanks to a late late goal from Kane.

Next game against Chinese Taipai will determine what position we will finish. Best is second at worse we finish fourth

Well Buchanen decided we wanted a second place finish and scored our only goal against Chinese Taipei.

We didn't have a team that matched up in rating versus most of our group but our kids showed why Canada is not an easy three points.

This up comming seasons talent pool is a bit weaker but the 15 yr old kids are looking really nice.

A really good campaign. I guess you are set to stick with U-17 GM position for a long time.

Wow! What a start of the World Cup!

What a fortunate win based on play and line editing! I didn't realize Kane was suspended for a game and he was substituted by our back up left midfielder Maxwell who played great.

We got away with a ton of fouls and some lucky breaks giving up a half dozen free kicks. The major plus is we won, and Mercier can take free kicks anytime! I don't know if we will fair well against Germany but we have all our starters off suspension and we will just hope we get a point or three.

Kudos to my man Maxwell. Wondered why he was camped out on the doorstep. Keep up the good work!
