Thanks zomg and engraver. Yeah I realize a couple of them will stay on the NT. I'm just want to first compile the list of all players that could possibly fit the bill in any way.....only after we have this large list should we make cuts.

Whats some basic criteria for the U-20 guys? I have a few may be worth keeping a tab on.

My preference for U-20 is players who will not start on Main National Team. In the case of Brewer A player who should be able to train well shoudl go straight to the U-20 team and bypass 17-U--- Unless you cant have 17 YO on U-20???

Just for clarification:

You're suggesting that players currently 19 and younger on the senior NT, that aren't starting on the senior NT, should be on the U20/U17 team? As an example, Adams is on the senior NT, doesn't start, and would be eligible for the U20 NT next season.

I agree with these points, although I might expand it to include top reserves (i.e. #3 CF, #2 RD, etc.) and/or players with high chemistry (say 70+ at the end of the season) with the senior NT. I'm not sure how many players on the senior NT we currently have that would be eligible for the U20 or U17 teams next season.

I started to use the database to come up with the top OR players at each position for the two upcoming junior NTs. However, only 5 USA teams have updated any players in the last month. I haven't scouted all of the players posted and some of the ones that I don't have scouted do not have positions set (understandable). In those cases, I simply went on to the next player.

Here is what I came up with for a "short" list of players that could be considered for the junior NTs based on players uploaded to the database this season and a couple of players from this thread that I happened to stumble upon. I stopped after the defenders due to the lack of players uploaded.
Qualities and attribute builds were ignored for this analysis.

I'd also like to note that I do not plan to run for NT manager, but wanted to provide this information to those who are wondering what it may take to get a player on one of the junior teams. For those managers who do plan on running, starting separate threads for each of the junior NTs may be a good start.

Certain cases. I think Ricky hs a better chance to start ahead of Adams. Certain players like Henne and Thompson can easily start next year but need the experience. I think certain players who probably won't start or pla y in a major back up roll should build the experience in the U.20

Once we have managers set up. I will give my opinion on who I will be booting. I just wish they had nnounced this earlier because I could have Dded a few players like McCormick who is training really well.
