Draft ordering suggestion. Be able set the parameters for the order. I know that if you order by career longevity then by potential, it will have the players in order of potential then career longevity. However, I would like the order to be custom. Like A+ > A > B > Unscouted > C > D and order by career longevity. I would rather have an unscouted player than a C or D player.
that is why i think that order is useless.
When i had pro i moved all one by one.
then there are positions ... when there are multiple Bs for example at same career i may want to chose a position and even side.
So again ... useless.
I think it would make more sense to offer the order to non pro managers that would still not have the option to sort players by position, side, A+ > A > B > Unscouted > C > D and so on.

I've been asking for a different energy system, where you can rest players, and if you rest them for a while, they recuperate, as is the case in real life! i.e. before the World Cup, or the Playoffs in NBA, many players are rested, specially older players that have injury concerns (i.e. Manu Ginobili)
Unluckily that would e very hard to moderate, and as killerpuck said, cheating would likely arise
Soccer is easier in that regard. There's only 3 subs a game (sometimes not all 3 are even used), and the coache's job is 95% done before the game. Once the game starts it's all in the player's hands (coaches still handle those 3 subs, which if made correctly and at the right time can change the tide of the game)
In basketball (I know NBA, idk much about the Euro-league) subs are made consistently. I think they should add a setting to have players rotate. Set up a starting lineup, and set how much of the game do you want your substitute at that position to play (i.e. 90%/10%). Obviously, if this game is not realistic in the sense that players playing level reduces over time as they get tired, it probably doesn't even matter. In football this is much easier because the pitch is big and players get to "rest" mid-game, plus, they're not running suicides back and forth for 40 minutes! lol!

On this topic, would it be very niche to play non-traditional formations in basketball (this is the BASKETBAL suggestions thread, is it not? jk)? i.e. A 3-guard offense
this is the most generic thread: suggestion for all sports.
seasonal energy is relative. this means that if you choose not to play 'player A', then 'player A' will have higher energy in comparison to those players who have played a match. in other words, even if 'player A' does not recover energy by resting, he will have higher energy than others
In basketball they need to change bow they sub. How it is now they dump all the subs in at once so you are playing your 2nd team. They need to be staggered.
regarding the forums, it would be WONDERFUL if we could "star" particular posts so that we could easily refer to them much later.
There could be a tab/menu for "starred posts," where you could click on them, and you would be whisked away to the exact post, on the exact page, of the exact thread (without having to remember this on your own).
There's been several times where people have posted stuff that has been really good insight/information that I've thought about going back and reading that I can NEVER find EVER again.
Even some of the responses from vlady and canucks regarding game mechanics and such would be nice to "star"/save, so we don't have to go digging for them.

+1
Irony: the fact that this post is a suggestion.

In basketball, it would be nice if we could use "3 digits" in the tactics setup.
Unlike other sports here, basketball games have very high scores, so the inability to use "3 digits" has already limited my tactical setup several times in only a few weeks of play.
What I mean is that you cannot currently set "if losing by -10 to -30" as a tactic. The entry only allows for two characters (so it gets cut off at -1 to -3), which clearly isn't the same thing.

If you're trailing by a negative amount, you are actually winning.
That's why there are different options for trailing and leading. Unless you plan on losing by 100, this shouldn't be a problem.
