You were definitely on to something with that theory. I'm in division III, I failed to promote, and I still make more than enough to cover arena expenses from my media deal.
I was curious for those of you with max arena seating roughly how much attendance are you getting for friendly games?
Mine seems to fall between 5k to 6k and I'm interested to know how much of an effect improving ice quality, Sound, Parking etc. has on friendly games?

I'm getting the same attendance. However, I'm in division III, my OTR is about 70 points lower, and my players are immensely less popular than yours. With all of those things working against me, I'd say improving those bits of the arena was well worth it.
I get the same friendly attendance with about the same OTR and no attendance boosting accessories built, so I dunno. My league games are all in the 16-17k range though, slowly increasing throughout the season to sellouts during the playoffs, so I might build a few attendance boosters.
I would like to know this too. I believe that the STL Saints have maxed out the ice quality, the lighting and sound, the scoreboard, and the car park, as well as everything else in the arena.
I just built up all my "extras". Doubt I'll ever recoup it but it may mitigate against attendance drops should I lose playing L/VL.
Thanks for the replies guys, I plan to build all the extras at some point. Just trying to figure out how much of a priority they should be.
Based on what everyone else is saying, I think I will wait until I max out my big 4 facilities before spending any more money on the remaining extras.
That's the way I'm leaning as well. It doesn't seem like they'll have enough of an impact to divert money from building facilities.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we've established that training forwards on their Defense attribute is useless for 5v5 play, right? Does anyone know if it helps on the PK at all?
What time is the draft exactly?
All I see is "2014-05-26 02:00:00"
I'm assuming that is the East coast time,
so 11pm Pacific on Sunday, correct?
or is it European time corresponding with the clock in the top left corner?
