Dobro veče!
Thank you for your support in the election for manager of Montenegro U20. I will do my best in developing a nice team, and I have already scouted almost all promising players aged 18-20. However, I need your help! Please send me a message if you have any Montenegrian players who satisfy the requirements for the NT:
20 y. old: min OR 800
19 y. old: min OR 750
18 y. old: min OR 700
...or close enough with very good skills.
Montenegro especially needs a 20-year-old good goalkeeper, wingers for the mid field and forwards! Right now we have a few players who are not good enough but there is no choice... Please build your training facilities and sports academies, and raise new Montenegrian players.
Let's do everything we can for Montenegro!

Hello everybody!
We are on the second week of this season and our U20 National Team is almost complete, with only five more selections left. I have contacted several managers (some answers are still missing!) about their NT players and selected many new players. At this point I would like to introduce our key players as Zoran ns did with Montenegro's U17 team. So, who is on the U20 National Team, and for what reasons? We have some very good young players and some quite bad, too. That is because we have no choice – there are few skilled young Montenegrian players, and most get training with bad facilities. So please, raise 15-y-olds from your sports academies and train them well! They are the future of Montenegro's National Teams.
GOALKEEPERS
We definitely need a 19 or 20-year-old goalie! Our best goalkeeper by far at the moment is soccer.powerplaymanager.c... who is one of the most skilled players on our team this season. Toma is 19 years old. He was on the market a few days ago and ended up in a young Polish team whose training facilities are not good at all, so I hope he will be sold to a top-notch team as soon as possible. With excellent training he could reach OR 1000 during next season but I'm afraid that won't happen.
Our goalie nr 2 was bought into my team (FC Stellare) because I wanted to save him from even worse training facilities than mine are (currently in building to level 11). soccer.powerplaymanager.c... is only 18 years old, and even though his OR and his career length (4/6) are not that good, he is much more skilled in goalkeeping than his rival, 19-year old soccer.powerplaymanager.c... who unfortunately has very low goalkeeping skills and gets bad training. So, we have three goalies but only Avdalovic is trained in passable training facilities at the moment. I believe he will be the U20 team's second best goalkeeper next season, too, unless we find someone better.
FULL-BACKS
We have a nice list of defenders: 17 young players in total, most of whom are 19 years old. Eight of them are full-backs which means that their most important skill after defence is speed: they need to be able to run fast in order to properly defend our half of the field.
On the right side we have two 20-year-old full-backs: soccer.powerplaymanager.c... who is on FC Ivangrad (with OK training facilities), and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... from Fc Karlín in the Czech Republic. His training, however, is not that good. There are two 19-year-old full-backs, too: soccer.powerplaymanager.c... plays in Slovakia's IV.18 League and he is on our NT only as a substitute because his skills have been trained very badly and because his training facilities are hardly sufficient, whereas FC Ivangrad's soccer.powerplaymanager.c... probably is our best full-back at the moment. soccer.powerplaymanager.c... from my team is universal, so he serves as a substitute.
On the left side, our best full-back is 20-year-old soccer.powerplaymanager.c... from FC Ivangrad. 18-year-old future stars soccer.powerplaymanager.c... and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... play in Czech's I.1 League and train within excellent facilities. They will be Montenegro U20's best left full-backs next season.
CENTRE-BACKS
The best players on our team play centre-back. Four of them are universal: soccer.powerplaymanager.c... and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... are trained well on Diosa de la Aurora. They are 20 years old, so next season soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (SANI1, the very best training facilities in Montenegro) and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... will take care of defending our goal area. We also have two right centre-back substitutes, two left centre-back substitutes and one universal. I know, there are many of them and they are not all that good but Montenegro will need NT trained young defencemen in case something happens – a good centre-back is sold to a bad team or in case of injuries.
WIDE MIDFIELDERS
Now, this is a real problem for our team! We have only ONE wide midfielder at the moment: soccer.powerplaymanager.c... is only 18 years old but he trains on a bad team. Where are all the 18-20-year-old Montenegrian wide midfielders?! If you know any, please let me know!
CENTRAL MIDFIELDERS
Luckily here we have some of the best players on our team. Montenegro U20 has seven central midfielders. soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (SANI1), soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (FC Ivangrad), and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (Interminibili) are 20 years of age.
Three 19-year-olds: soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (Diosa de la Aurora) is our only top central midfielder for next season, soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (Interminibili) is not skilled enough in mid field, and soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (FC Ivangrad) is also a promising player for next season.
http://soccer.powerplaymanager.com/en/player.html?data=25364754-dusan-roncevic (Interminibili) is the only 18-year-old central midfielder. I hope he will be available for NT in the future, too.
FORWARDS
We have very few good forwards, so I think whether they play wide or center doesn't matter much at this point. soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (Diosa de la Aurora) is the only 20-year-old and his OR is fine, but his main attribute is his major flaw. He is simply not good enough in his role, so I put more faith in the 18-year-old future stars (as we have no 19-year-olds...): just yesterday I bought soccer.powerplaymanager.c... onto my team for 7M because he was bidded by a team with miserably bad training facilities. Mitrusic has a relatively short career length but he is talented and incredibly skilled. I believe he will be our top forward in the future. soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (SANI1) gets excellent training and he is a very potential future forward, too. He is also our only right side forward. soccer.powerplaymanager.c... (FC Scorpions, Finland III.7) is a good young player and has nice training facilities at disposal, so he will definitely be on the team next season, too!
IN SUMMARY: We have some very good players on our team, and even though right now we are in the last place in world ranking, I think we have a chance to win a couple of matches this season and grow as a team. I'll do my best and thank you for having trust in me! I would like to develop the team further in the future, too.
Last Saturday (when I wasn't in charge of the NT yet) we lost 6:0 against Taiwan U20. I believe this week we'll be much better prepared to play them, and maybe even to win and gain points for the world ranking. Fingers crossed!
Best greetings from Finland,

Before last Saturday MNE U20 had last managed to gain points for the world ranking during season 18. Now we played 0-0 against Kazakstan U20! I'm very happy with the result of the friendly match but a lot of hard work is required before we can even hope for similar results in World Championship Qualifications - I believe we have a chance to win against Egypt and Saudi Arabia but unfortunately that's it for this season.
For next season we'll have a seriously better team with the current U17 star players and our (now) 18-19-y-old best players. Now the team is complete. Our only priorities are to gather chemistry and experience for our (future) best players and gain some points for the world ranking.

Montenegro U20
Hello there,
The training season is over now, and I am preparing the team for the World Cup Qualifications that are due to begin next Saturday. Our first match will be against Egypt U20 - I think we have a chance to gain our first Qualification win since Season 15 but it will not be an easy game. They have 11 good players. However, the Egyptian manager is rather inexperienced, so with the right tactics I believe we COULD win the game. Keep your fingers crossed!

Montenegro U20 vs. Egypt U20, result 0:3.
Nothing to do here, they outshot us 14-2. I wanted to create a strong defence and a strong midfield, and ball possession was rather even in those areas. Unfortunately the best players of the Egyptian team were too strong for us to beat this time.
Our best players in the game, all with a rating at 22:
Damjan Mitrusic (F)
Lazar Ninkovic (F)
Nebojsa Milovic (CM)
Rade Mrksic (CD)
Our next World Cup Qualification opponent will be Ireland. It seems unlikely that we could stand a chance against them, so let's just do the best we can!

U20 World Cup Qualification Game:
Taiwan - Montenegro 1:0
Too bad we did not manage to score a goal. :/ However, this was our best game this far and with a team like this you can't expect any fantastic results. But still, we were so close to playing 0:0 against them... Our next opponent is Saudi Arabia.

Che delusione! The Saudis won 1-3. We scored and tied the match at '22 but that wasn't enough. OK, now I'm just waiting for next season and a much stronger Montenegro.
SUMMARY:
The season is almost over by now, so just a few words on our performance: we managed to gain 50 points for the world ranking playing 0-0 against Kazakhstan in a friendly match. On top of that, we came close to gaining points from Taiwan in the Qualifications but were unlucky. I am rather satisfied with the development of the team over the past season - our young key players for the future got training bonuses and experience for next season!
For Season 21, I wish to continue as your U20 manager. We will have three excellent young players joining our team from Montenegro U17 - Mrkić, Popadić and Radanović will definitely make our team stronger! Especially Popadić will be important for our mid-field because unfortunately our stars Kostić and Milović will turn 21 and leave the team... Strahinja Gavrić will become our third goalkeeper.
As for the players currently on the team, I expect the following guys to lead Montenegro U20 to seriously better results next season:
DEFENCE: Peko Pejić (our best full back), Rade Mrksić (our best centre back), and Oliver Kasalica.
MID-FIELD: Mihajlo Nincić (our only top level wide mid-fielder) and Aco Rasović.
FORWARDS: Damjan Mitrusić (our best forward) and Svetozar Velić.
Goalkeeping remains a very big problem. We have Toma Karadzić who is OK but he plays on a bad team, so I am not quite sure what to do with him. Mario Avdalović has OK skills and (compared to Karadzić) he gets much better training on my team but he will become Montenegro U20 NT's Number One goalie only after next season... Gavrić is too young and has too little experience. So, our only hope is that Karadzić will be sold to a better team!
Having said all this, I have an Excel file with all the information on our players available. So let's continue with the three-season plan! I hope you will support me.
Hvala!

Great friendly match result, 1-1 against Algeria U20! Last season our team's total rating was 59 in the first game, now it is 88. I'm very happy with our team's effort.
