Temat: World Championship Season 12

Sooo, we're guaranteed a medal...

Gold or silver I don't care as we've over performed massively this campaign. I'm happy if I can qualify us for the World Championship proper every season, so to get to the final is beyond all expectations. Ukraine's best player is over 2000 overall whereas our best (Nixon) isn't even 1800.
And we don't even have 100 handball teams!!

Whatever happens this has been the Seniors' best campaign to date by far and will probably never be repeated. Although I will try again next season

Thanks for the kind words. I was watching each match live, living it as if it's a real-life match, and each one an absolute roller-coaster. The amount of times i thought the final was over and then we pulled it back was brilliant!
I don't think i/we'll ever come close to matching that performance again. It's such a big ask having to be almost tactically perfect every match just to make up for the lack of player talent, and even then to only just win!
It's done wonders for our world ranking though. I think we've jumped about 13 places this season!!
