Temat: What's with the player salaries?

Why are the player salaries so high for a new d3 team. Haven't been paying attention to my finances to much just went to see how much I was getting from a friendly and noticed my player salaries at 45k. That's insane for players with just 300 overall. Is this because you don't have as many players on a team compared to the sports?
