win for UK U19, i guess portugals messed up a bit with tactics this time but thats better for us.

and here is Iran U19, don't have to say much, only having 18 y.o. player with nearly 800 ovr looks awesome. Where is our 800 level players ?

Don't be too concerned. The main thing for you really is to keep the best players playing. In time the major clubs will all have level 14/15 facilities and the field will become a lot more even. I'm sure we will get a generation soon that is more competitive.

I understand that the junior teams are lacking overall in terms of oVr strength. But it isn't all oVr. Build composition is as important and a poorly trained player no matter his oVr will soon be shown to be a secondary choice.

Having said that we do have some pretty decent players in the Juniors. In my term in your position I kept an eye on the main players and just made sure they didn't go out of whack too much. At the end of the day it's a preparatory role for the senior team. In others words you do your best guiding the better players towards a possible senior team selection. - And if they don't make it, so be it.

You have an important job in terms of PPm, your representing the nation, your fellow managers and the (players) themselves.

and we are up Bosnian guys again. Last game we won aginst them but it was at home, we not gona have this today so result will be way different.

Portugal again, we play at home i hope, i really hope i did not fucked up with tactics. If we win we go to next stage... fingers crossed...

Interesting tactical choices for the U19s tonight. I don't think I've ever seen a team play 5-out before. Has anyone else ever used it? Didn't really pay off tonight.

I'm still not sure what to make of the X in Y out setting after all this time! I've seen some 5 out wins before and losses, but not sure whether its the 5 out, or the other tactics that are more important.

You would think 5 out lends itself to shooting mid/long range and help minimise turnovers and defend against fast breaks. But i don't know.
