Sooooo that was a very unexpected way to kick off my first game as U19 manager. I didn't get to see the team in action because China didn't call up any players for the game. Loosing the chemistry for a friendly won't be the end of the world, but our division is tough. Many teams with starting rosters of players over 500 OR. I guess I will have to wait til tomorrow to see the team in action
It's been a rough start for the U19 team. Losing to Venezuela was rough do to leading the game in the 3rd.
Losing to Greece was a suprise. With Greece being the only team in our bracket with a lower overall stregnth.
I've made some adjustments to the tactics for the next game to play to our teams strengths.
The next game against a much stronger Latvian opponent will be the make or break matchups for the tourney. Hopefully we can keep the fouls down and the shooting percentage up.

Harrison Hughes has a rating of 42 (with 100% chemistry) for my team. He has better passing, technique, speed, and shooting than Barrera. His qualities for for shooting, blocking, passing, and technique are all in the 90's. His experience of 17 is pretty good for his age - he's already a starter. Though his shooting is only trained at 80%, he's among the league leaders in a handful of shooting categories. He's only 18, so he could build a little chemistry for next season. There may be other good SG's, but if a 19 year old Barrera that is more or less equal overall makes the team, Harrison Hughes might deserve some consideration.
Sorry for the forfeit today guys, I had thought I had 5 19yo ready for the line-up, but I must've let one of them go after I set it up without realizing what i had done.
Well, it has been a great season for the U19 so far, but it looks like we will probably lose to Italy in the first single elimination round of 16. They are just so much stronger I doubt things will turn out well, even though I hope nonetheless. A top 8 finish would be great!
Nice season. Keep up the great work. Thanks and Good Luck.
Thanks! I'll be handing the reigns back over to paranoid, but I will probably be his assistant as I have been for many seasons now.
