he played me with VERY High Game importance and i played the same too but for some odd mistake my Game importance went from VERY HIGH to High in third period...i blame it on that lol but we shall see how game three goes

That slip up in the 3rd period importance was huge. Like me, you're probably better off being down here for another season, but an upset would have been interesting.

The Squirrel Cage is now up to 14,100 seats! In a few days it will be 16,600

I cannot stress how important it is to build up your arena. Get some Triples up ASAP. Even if you can only afford the 1,000 seaters. Its even more important than facilities, IMO. Bigger and better seating gives a big bump in attendance and massive Media deals. This season, I'm getting 90M from my Media and another 110M from tickets.

That's money that is almost independent of on ice performance. I was the worst team in II.1 last season and still got that decent Media sponsor (and lead the league in attendance!). It might double now that I'm a good team in III.4 and I've added ~5,000 seats this season.

I will have my first three minimum triples for next season. I should be able to buy two maximum triples or four to five minimum triples. I've neglected by training and regeneration facilities, but I have a lot of older players anyway.

Yeah. You do have to make some sacrifices to get this done, but it's so worth it. As soon as I get my stadium finished, I'll have a ton of cash to get the facilities started.

I tried doing it the other way, building facilities and hoping to be good enough so I could afford to add seats, but that didn't work at all. I was stagnating in I.1 and needed to do something drastic.

Yeah, same thing happened to me in II a few seasons ago, barely made any money for the whole season. I had to sack my more expensive staff and focus solely on stadium upgrades.

It's paying off though - I've got enough saved up that as soon as this season's media deal is completed, I should be able to start all the upgrades I need to have a fully maxed stadium by the time next season's media deal is ready to be signed.

i have a single and a double and now trying to build a triple ASAP. i have been building my facilities and hoping it will get me something in return but it really never increase my incomes at all. but building my facilities have helped me stay out of the Transfer Market and made me more YA dependent. most of my players come from my YA. i'm definitely about to start investing more into my stadium now

oh and by the way Tujague you cheated in our last game...you lost on purpose just to create more revenue!

You're lucky if you can use mostly homegrown players. I went years without pulling a decent hockey player. I finally added one to the lineup last season, but he isn't nearly as good as the players I bought. I only used him so I would have one homegrown player.

That's exactly where I am right now. I made enough in player sales to get the last max Triple started and should be able to max out my last mini Triple later in the season.

And of course I fired/cut down on my staff after watching so many teams in I.1 fold due to not having enough money to compete. Remember when I tried to explain it to the Philly War Machine? Dude had 35-40 staff, most of them over 150 OR. And he's crying about his finances. Durr.

Yea i have pull some pretty decent players from my SA. almost every player on my team is a homegrown player with the exception of like 5. all my young future stars right now came through the SA....

i just build a triple in my stadium today and expanded my double but i hate how it takes so long to complete though haha that's just me i guess.
