Temat: Next Sport

There are already a lot of American Football Management Online. Let's let them do the sports they have planned before thinking in additionnal ones.

My favorite sport is Basketball because i'm lebanese and the first sport in Lebanon is Basketball but also I like Handball and in my opinion it's an awesome sport , It's one of the most popular sports in Germany , Sweden , Denmark , Norway , Iceland , Croatia and Finland !!!

Handball in Finland popular? I don't think so More popular are Hockey, soccer, rally, formula 1 for example

Oh yes especially when we hear about Raikonen and Hakkinen

For Finnish people, we would need a pesäpallo game ^^

Does PPM team plan on developing curling?

Is it true that the next sport is gonna be handball? And if so, when is it due?

Yes, it is. Hopefully the beta will start next winter...

The most probable reason for developing handball than any other sport is Handball European Championship which will be held in Serbia, January 2012.
If PPM Team will be able to make the game before the European Championship a good advertisement plan can bring them a lot new users there.
That's probably what they are also thinking.

There aren't to many handball manager games, and none of them is good, so I think it's a very good idea to develop the handball game next. I would always like to see the volleyball game .

Great thought IzzaX. You probably dead on on this. One of the things I admire about is the definitely know a lot about marketing. What better time to start a game when the fans are going crazy over the world championships?

I have to admit I was a bit critical about their decision to use handball. However after considering their expertise in programing, its popularity in Europe and the upcoming world championships it was probably the right thing to do.

I have to admit, Im a completed newb when it comes to handball, but I will give it a shot.

Cmon guys... lets be realistic. The only reason for making Handball as next sport is minimal effort that should be made for programing. That has been told in announcment by PPM team. There is no reason for claiming that Handball is as popular as Basketball, Formula 1... It just isnt. IMO, the third sport should have been something that is much more different than those existing sports (Tennis, Formula 1 or Baseball). I think that Baseball would be just perfect sport for PPM.

Handball isn't as popular as basketball in real life, but it's easier to develop AND the main advantage is that there aren't any good handball manager games on the internet so it has the potential to bring many users. I think the handball game will bring many users from Danemark, Germany and other countries.

Anyway, the stats from basketball and handball:

Registered managers: 45133 in handball game
Registered managers: 50214 in basketball game

So there isn't to much difference.
