Is it really a requirement that we have someone injured on the team? Yesterday the last one is healed, and today the next one is injured. This is a very common theme.
I imagine that during the overnight compilations you have a chance for a player injury - the chance probably goes up drastically with 0 players injured. I notice that I run with no injuries for long spans, then I get lambasted - ride through with 1-2 guys injured and then I clean up again for awhile.
That's kinda dumb. People aren't more likely to be injured because no one else is injured. They should be a bit more independent. From what I've seen, I can imagine the chance of injury with 0 current injuries is about 25%.
its very possible that the rule is actually opposite. You aren't more likely to have injuries because you have none, but are less likely to incur more injuries when you have 1,2 or 3. This would be in place to protect managers from going below the minimum players needed to set a lineup.
No offense, but they are one in the same. If the injury rate for those with a current injury is so much lower than without, then you have a serious problem with your injury calculations. "Other games" handle this just fine with an independent (or at least close to) injury rate. It is obvious that the "0 injury rate" is too high.
if you're mostly always guaranteed 1-2 injuries anyway why build up the med center, eh?
I just want to know why my last 4 injuries were to my #1, #3, #4 and #5 best players by OTR and none seem to ever affect the bottom 10 guys.

So when you do have injuries they will heal faster?
and when they heal up faster someone else will immediately get gimped. If you believe what they say about number of injuries leading to drop in CL then you would rather have a few long injuries than a bunch of short ones (if you accept from the above arguements that you are always going to have 1-2 guys out) since that would affect CL of a smaller percentage of your players.
on another note - 11 of the 16 games in round one of the champion's league playoff ended up with upsets today - giving me a home game next week.

I went back and checked my injuries this season. Every time I went to 0 injuries, the time span until the next injury was between 1 minute (yes, same day, happened twice) and 3 days (happened once). The majority happened 1 or 2 days afterwards. Only one time I had 2 players injured at once.
I am actually glad my guy (4th line wing) is out for 17 days. THAT is sad.

I actually experimented for awhile in beta buying guys off the market who were injured to try to keep my own guys healthy. it, sadly enough, seemed to work pretty well...
I too have noticed that one guy on another guy off injury bug this season. Since the 3rd game of the regualr season this season I have only had 2 days where my entire roster has been injury free. 1 guy would be day to day and my next player would be out.
Only recently has the injury bug gone after my "B" squad players.

I posted this in suggestions - is that a strange thread, because I only see mine. Should I put it somewhere else?
I may suggest putting it in the international Q&A. You will get more responses there and see if it is a trend people have noticed for this season.
