Have not seen the players AQ yet but based on the stars I will call the draft a BUST

Drafted 4 B players: 3 stars. For 28 days working daily to scout players and sit on Sunday to draft them it is pretty bad.

The Bs i used to draft before were 3 stars too or better. So, i have not seen much change other than some of the Bs that i drafted before were 2.5 stars.

The two "hidden gems" in my league were D players. who in sane mind will waste picks and try to find a D gem among 200+ other possible candidates? Only TeamNonames and dead ones will do it.

The three hidden gems from the I.1 draft were D's as well. Since B players probably aren't worth picking, I guess the optimal strategy is to get an A if available, otherwise pick 6/6 D's and hope you get a gem.

Something to keep in mind:

The problem is that players need more attributes than in hockey and if just one of those has a poor quality, it brings down the potential rating quite a bit.

This is the first soccer draft so we can't really compare it to any of the other drafts we've had thus far.

Had 3 picks. Went with the one A I found despite him being ranked 90th overall. He ended up actually being a B prospect.

OR - 308
CL- 6/6
Mid/Pas/Speed in the 80's and Tec/Hea in the 50's before scouting

I was lucky enough to have pick #2 and got my only scouted A. Josh Nixon has main qualities Mid 95 Pas 85 Tec 92 so I am very happy. That's about what I expected for an A player (can you imagine an A+ ??) Probably won't make a huge splash on the market so I think I will keep him.

The B's do not look too useful, so next time I may just go hidden gem mining!

I have a question. How can I observe a player from the draft?
I don’t have such function button on the draft page.

Today is draft day. I don't think you can scout (observe) any players on draft day.

But that button it wasn't there neither yesterday.

The draft lottery is crap. Same teams get the top picks yet they have the same level of SA and staff as others.

Took a chance on a hidden gem with my last pick. Next time I'll just draft the guy with the most awesome name
