Salaries are paid daily.
If you buy a player, you will pay his daily salary.
Also 25% seems like a lot but getting a great player is usually more important.

I want to pay less so I can build something not just pay for players. I am in III. looking to go to II. Not a lot of money.
Can a manager with experience get in contatc with me? I have several questions. I love the game, but as a rookie im kind of lost.
Perhaps the best thing to do is to ask the questions right in this topic.
Is it best to build up my arena first, or my facilities? I've been operating (for the very short time I've had my team) on the assumption it was better to build TF and SA, as well as HR, and then build slightly on my arena. But maybe I have this backwards.
It's better to focus on the arena, especially if you are starting a sport late. TF, RF, and SA aren't really worth anything until you reach level 15, maybe level 14. Until then, they just cost money to build and maintain while producing players that are inferior to what you can get for the minimum on the market. TF, RF, and SA might be worthwhile if you were starting basketball on day 1 so that you can produce, develop, and sell premium talent.
The HR and arena will help you to get money to compete and build everything else sooner (as well as maintenance once those start to get larger).

Thanks, I appreciate this! My arena is currently headed for 1600 seats. I'll continue to focus on that. We've been selling out, which has been good.
Yes, HR and arena are the best way to quickly build cash! Once you have large stand-ups or small seats, I would save up and go straight to triple-floor multipurpose.
If you are good with the market, then you can get by with just medical, maintenance, and HR, and save a lot on staffing.
As Capsaicin said, at this point TF, RF, SA, etc are only worth it at lvls 14-15.

Thanks for this as well. Here's hoping! As an aside, I may bring back my hockey team (I had one a long time ago, up until around season 14 or so.
I have a player who I've been using as a serviceable backup SF Reuben Tackett . He is 202 cm (6'7" and is just 16. Should I expect him to grow enough to be a PF and start training him accordingly, or is it somewhat random?
Apparently, players can grow at different rates: however, it has been my observation that they grow at about 3-4 cm per season until they are 20ish. This means he should finish at about 214.
Thanks! If that's right, then he'll be a center! He's already grown one cm this season; if he grows three cms at 16-19, then he'd end up at 213. Either way, 213-214, according to the guide, seems about the tallest one would want their PF. But that tells me I need to start training him at PF, since this means sometime next season he'll be tall enough to play PF. Thanks again for helping me think through this!
