They've announced some changes they'll be making, not just to the draft but the SA pulls as well. I doubt you'll be seeing any players that have 3 or 4 stars but one of the key Qs is crap anymore. Players will be built more position-ready and less roll-of-the-dice.
I would like to see the draft different then the academy. The players older, say 18 to 20 years old with an equivalently higher OR and with some able to be good enough to play right away on some teams. A little more like we see in the NHL draft. I could get a little more excited with that.
Oh fantastic question. There may be people out there who blew a week's worth of sponsorship moneys.
i used money once and credits twice because i forgot to set players to scout for the Thursday before draft day.
i also think that teams that cant make it should be able to use credits to offset not having every draft period free. But again it would be nice to have more show up. I'm an ass, id say the people that dont make arangement fall to the bottom of the order, those there or paid, stay where they are... or rise some spots. Ready Made 18 yr olds not a bad idea too!
just finished scouting my a+...heres an idea of what theyll look like in the future: Defenseman...99 Defence, 84 Shooting, 69 Passing, 99 Technique, 92 Agressivness
That's good news. I've had that a few times. Super annoying
I may have been wrong. They are changing how the classifications and how they're calculated though.
Drafting 3rd picked up Matthew Donnelly scouted Q's Def 89, Off 98, Sho 81, Pas 91, Tec 89 and Agr 80. Looks like a center to me. 6/6 scouted as an A.
Maybe you'll find a taker because he's the first pick overall. But seriously, Qs alone aren't interesting enough to bid high for him.
