Temat: New Design

Unfortunately (for me) I don't like the new design so far. I'm trying not to be a reactionary who just objects to change, but the previous one suited me better. Things I don't like:

* Menu bar you have to click on to change the menu (ie first click takes you no where)
* Too many huge attention grabbing ads
* Game text is tiny and often displayed in three shades of grey (two for striping of rows and then grey text on top)
* Tables are now large so they don't fit on my laptop so well
* Everything slower and takes longer to accomplish stuff (this means the fun of playing is diminished)
* Facilities level is very unclear
* Much, much, much preferred the old sketched style logo's (they had something almost unique and have changed to make it bland like everyone else)

On the plus side:

* Opening page is better (although sign-on is not so good)
* Team selection is slightly improved

So, really disappointed. I was thinking of putting my hand in my pocket and paying for the game. Maybe I would be happier if I did because the adverts would be gone? But now I worry that the game does not have a long future with this look.

old was better in pretty much every way... they should have put their effort into another sport.

Navigation of the site will take time to get used to.
I like a lot of the new colours and graphics but the margins on either side take up half the page and therefore there isn't much room for text meaning plenty of scrolling to read forums, news, league table etc.
Text and fonts are too large and pictures of female models in different attire would of been better than the the 70's cartoon figures used for staff.
3-d stadiums looked a lot better than the current ones.
Ginger Morgan is a nice addition.

Far too much wasted screen space (personal assistants that don't actually assist with anything, WTF?), and what isn't wasted is used rather inefficiently. The whole thing feels too big, as others have said there's far too much scrolling involved. I'm on a fairly high res screen (1440*900) and finding it restrictive, god knows how bad it'd be on a netbook or smartphone.

I like the design in terms of colour scheme etc but it needs making easier to navigate by using screen space more efficiently.

Is anyone else finding the text appears incredibly slowly on live broadcasts since the update when it was fine before?
