My sports academy has been great for the past few years despite only being at level 10, but these are the first worthwhile players I've gotten this season.
The 4.5 star player has an unscouted EQ of about 90 and a starting OR of 415. Unfortunately his CL is 5/6, and I won't be upgrading my training facility from 13 for 1 or 2 more seasons; I'm probably going to keep the player for my team.

Since I upgraded it to Lvl 12... I have only gotten 2 decent players... But I'd gotten a 4.5 star player back when it was Lvl 7 or 8!! What's going on?!
It's a shame about the CL, he could've been great!

I wasn't able to log in today and paid the price, playing one of the only important games of the season on very low. Hopefully I can make up for it on Thursday.
That may have made the difference. I guess I will be here for at least one more season.
The team relegating is defunct, so it looks like I will be competing with the Nome Icebergs for promotion, with maybe the Popes as a darkhorse contender. Whatever happens, I'm optimistic about the future now that I completed my stadium and finally started the level 14 training facility.

As much as I'd like to throw my name in there, I don't plan on doing too much to my roster next season so any upward movement on my part will have to be from better team management (not likely)
It did I believe... I think you probably would have got me if not for the first game. I wouldn't have minded either way to be honest.. I'm a solid DII team but the division I gap between the rest of us if pretty large. I'm only slightly better for next season which looking at how everything is panning out will be a much more difficult struggle to stay up.
You do have the only other team above about 75 team strength, though I guess it is largely attributable to your one really good keeper. Even so, as the potentially third best team, barring any significant acquisitions by anyone else, if you beat everyone that you are supposed to beat and the Firestorm or Nome Icebergs suffer even a few upsets, you (or whoever may make a few acquisitions) could probably still sneak into a higher spot.
Congratulations and good luck next year. II.3 isn't a bad division to be in - I should eventually return to I.1. The most important thing for me is that I am getting much closer to having the infrastructure necessary to even have a chance at eventually being competitive in I.1 The OTR boost from playing in division II shouldn't hurt either.
Yeah, Turzik is probably half my team as the keeper. I do have some other solid, if unspectacular, pieces; but nothing that is going to lead me to a promotion without some serious luck.
It looks like it will be the Firestorm against the Firehoses competing for the League Cup.
It looks promising that I am starting off at 142 team strength, especially since I can replace my 23 and 24 rating players with 2 30+ rating players when I need to do so.
Somehow, the number of games that have ended in draws is larger than the number of goals I've given up so far.
