Assunto: Senior National Team Discussion

Friendly games will be played on Very Low Intensity.
I don't care about the results, they will be only used for experimenting with different formations, and using the squad at my disposal. The last manager clearly placed a lot of value in these games and although they help with a countries ranking, they are meaningless to me and give a false reading as to a countries real standing.

Ultimately, Ireland has not qualified for enough tournaments and I want to change that.

Player energy will be kept for these games, but I will not be blowing the whole pot if I can help it.
As well as qualifying for tournaments, I want to try and get Ireland as far as possible in the tournament itself.

Ireland may not reach 23rd again, or for a long time, but I refuse to pad my stats as Ireland manager by playing Very High in friendly games and wasting energy, while doing poorly in the games that really matter.

Most nations would easily win friendly games if they played VERY HIGH against VERY LOW so if you ask me if friendlies mean anything, my answer is NO.

I have received OFFICIAL base numbers from Vlady regarding how many points a country can win in the various games that help towards ranking points, here they are:

Friendly games = 1
Challenge cup = 1.5
Qualifiers = 2.5
Continental cups = 3
World cup = 4

These are the real numbers we should be concentrating on.
As you can see, friendly games are pretty much meaningless.
Most of the nations play Very Low in friendly games for 1 reason = Energy Conservation for the games THAT REALLY MATTER.

The ONLY time I will play higher than Very Low in a friendly is at the end of a season if Ireland have no more competitive games left and the player energy gets reset at the end of the term.

I have gone through every Irish team that ever existed, looked at their transfers out and checked on these players as well as looking at existing Irish team players.

At this moment in time, the squad has been cut down to 28 players.

3 x GK
5 x FB
5 x CB
5 x WM
5 x CM
5 x CF

I have removed all wide forwards from the squad as I will not be using them at all.
I have never used wide forwards with my club, and I don't intend on doing so anytime soon.
I also removed a GK who had quite high OR, but he only had less than 60 experience, and with only 2/6 CL, he would never catch up with the 2nd best GK in the squad.

Of course, there may be players I have missed when I did my search.
If anyone has a player they feel should be in the squad, post the players name here and I will certainly take a look. Alternatively you can send me a PM if you would like to include more details.

why you selected your own stadiun just one day after you was selected as new manager...what was wrong on stadium....i had your stadium maybe two season but you stopped built stadium i selected better stadium..

my aim was help national team to best position before draw of qualification beacuse i had hard groups..i had hard group than you have right now

mostly teams which needed points to world rank beacuse of good position to world rank
world rank is very important thing before every draw of qualification
