Was wondering what he was up to... I thought there was a chance he was starting a huge rebuild, but he also demolished the rink and the training facility. So I figured he was just drunk.
So I've never played in a tournament before. Is there a friendly agreement to just play on very low importance?
Nope, someone asked about that in one of the early announcements for the tournament and Canucks said that there are no rules about importance.
No rules. But as this is not a competitive (league, NC etc.) match feel free to discuss among your fellow group mates.
I'd like to win, but I'm more interested in playing the games on "very low."
I, too , I would much rather keep my energy for the important match. But if you want to hope to win , thou has not really a choice.
I wouldn't mind conserving energy. If we can't get a unanimous agreement people can always talk about it prior to matches. I doubt once we're out of the round robin and into the tournament playoffs anyone will agree to restrictions though.
So the big tournament starts tomorrow! I've never played a tournament before. I get that the first 3 weekends are round robin play. After that, are all games single elimination?
