If the CT was determinant for this game, the shots number would be reversed, no ? Since when CT gives you an higher percentage in shot accuracy ?

Anyway, I don't know if they change something else than CT importance thi season, but it happens to me many times. Sometime I win 2-1 with 45-15 on shots, sometimes I lose. Once a yea, ok, it could happens, the goalie was in fire. Two times ? Why not, I'm unlucky. Ten times a season, I say there's something wrong in PPMLand...

I've seen fewer extreme cases this year than last year. Each league plays 380 games. If you consider extreme games the strangest 5% of games, that's still 19 games per season - odds are you'll be involved in 2 per season on average.

I had a bunch last season. This season not so many and those that I did have I was on the winning side of things mostly. It is easy to rip on the game engine when the results are on the far side of average in the direction towards being the losing team. But, I think we'll all admit upsets are what make sports so interesting. Without them, games would be very boring.

Don't try to make me tell what I didn't. I'm not complaining about anything, just notice what happens to me this season, and ask why.

I win a lot of games this season, but many of them were... weird. I've got maybe 8 victory with one goal or in OT when the other team was outshooted 45-15. Once again, one or two times a season, I can understand. I played hockey a lot, and I know what is a game with a magical goalie in front of you, or un unlucky day. But 10 in a season for the same team, I start to ask about a balance issue in the game engine.

Losing against a weaker team, no preoblem for me. Being dominated by a weaker team, no problem too, it could happen. Wondering if this time I will win, regardless the outreaging domination (75% possession, 3 times more shoot, etc), ten times a season, including against dead teams (!), let me the right to ask about...

I come back to you to make a point, now the season ends. I agree with you when you talk about surprsing games in sport, and be sure I'm the first to defend game engine when someone complain about it after one weird lose. But this season, I have a BIG bunch of weird games, and I wonder how it could happen so often.

So I made a little summary for you, if you have another explanation than "shit happens", I'll take it, it will help me to improve my team and my management.

Before, once again I'm not complaining about game engine, but I try to understand how all this games could happen to one team in a single season. I've got the best Team force and offense force of my league, second in goalie force and third in shooting force. So it's not shooting percentage due to a lack of shooting strenght or something like that...

Admit it, 14 weird games on 38, you had to wonder what happens... If you had some explanation, please tell me, cause I don't want to live another season like this. Imgine if I won play-offs, what will happen next season, in he higher level, against better teams ? 0-12 each games ?

Of the games listed, 2 were weird. Most were normal. I think your standards are odd. For example, what is wrong with a 2-0 win when shots were ~40-20? Nothing! Looking at the odds, you won two games you shouldn't have and lost one you should have won (assuming 50/50 threshold).

You seem to outshoot when appropriate. Train more shooting, which will better your odds. Outside of that, I think your expectations are too focused on a specific result.

Ok, we're definitely not on the same planet. And train shooting more ? Like I say, 3rd shooting force in my league. So If it's shooting the cause, it must happen to 17 other team in my league, am I wrong ?

When you shot 45 times on a goalie, yes, I expect more than 3 goals. Once or twice a season, when the goalie is on fire, ok, but 12 times, I start to wonder. And as my shooting force seems high enough, admit than the repetition of this kind of games is weird...

Once again, it's not really the result of this or this game, but the fact than it happens 12 times on 38 games this season...

Try to start game with diferent tactic. Active forechecking isnt working for your team obviously.

You think there is a correlation between tactic and shooting efficiency ? Interesting. I thought tactics could only impact number of shots taken...
