Wow, I never realize that was missing. It's a glaring omission.
I think it isn't included because how do you determine a W/L if goalies are swapped at some point?
How do you determine W/L in NHL hockey if a goalie is swapped?
I always assumed it was like baseball: the goalies who were in goal when the game was last tied.
It was more of a rhetorical question.
Basically, if a goalie is losing and gets pulled, and the team wins, he doesn't get a W or L (I think), but if they lose, he gets the L. It's actually pretty confusing but I think it is a rule that could allow this statistic in PPM.

You need a logically yes/no determining factor in order to program it. Goalies in goal at last tied is how it'd have to be. Basically, worst case Ontario, if it is 0-3, goalie gets yanked, then 3-3, then goes 3-5 the goalie who came in gets handed the loss.
sure, it'll make it easier. I also like your auto-correction for scenario...
actually it's the goalie who is in goal when the game winning goal is scored. it would be possible to program along with the game winning goals stats.
That sounds more correct. Hypothetical: if this is added in would you be able to back-date stats?
That's what I thought. I ask because in the past you've added stats retroactively.
