Holy crap! What a day in the NC. Some really close upsets:
OAP 2-1 Montreal Sasquatch (shootout) (shots 26-1)
Brutal Deluxe 1-0 Winnipeg Fury (shootout) (shots 21-8)
Kenora Stiners 2-1 Atikokan Irons (extra time) (shots 21-8)
Amazing round by the pot-B teams, well done all. It'll be interesting next round as things get tougher and suspensions start to rack up.

I had a CB, SM and CF suspended so I didn't have high hopes.
Lone victim in the top-8 after the round of 16 was [soccer_team=78011]... Drillers escaped with an A.E.T. win. We're down to the final-8 now folks, everyone should have a ticket to the ChL/CWC at this point.
Forgot to set tactics. L in the first half cost me. Lost two games to Reflex today, the second being in handball.
Guess who just drew the top seed in the second group! Wahoo! 
No upsets this round. Onto the final-8, all of whom should be making an international cup appearance next year!
I want CWC next year. I plan to place 5-6. Late season camps scheduled.
No! That's my plan! 
Jeez. I thought I might finally get lucky this year and maybe get a 2nd round match that I could win. Instead I get Montreal Sasquatch. At least I'll be rolling in the $3.5M I'll hopefully get for this massacre. 
We lost several teams in Canada and we now have barely more than 128. It's now harder for teams that are ranked lower as they can get I.1 teams on their first round... I feel your pain
