How many advance out of each group?

There are 4 teams per group that will advance to the payoffs round.

All 4 groups seem pretty even. Based on 12 out of 16 making it out of the group stage I say all the groups have a chance. Too bad I did not learn about this tournament sooner. I wish I could have my team in.

the draw has been very evil. jajajaja.

In my group there is no one of the same force, or like mine. Although I hope to give much war.
Fate is thrown.

It's getting close to game time. Sent some of the boys off to training camp to be ready for competition...they can't wait to play in the the tournament! !!

Day 3 of the tournament.

Very important win today for Metropolitains HC 3-2 vs Hockey Club Poli Iasi...Thank's to Metropolitains HC goalie Matej Staskraba for a solid performance 36 saves | 38 shots (94.74%). Currently in 3rd place in group 3.

Hi guys.
I hope I'm being a pain in Group 4 despite being the worst team in the group.
Nor is it I can do much more.

Final game of the tournament today...we will have a champion.

Good luck to all star 44 and Pretorijanska Garda for the final.

Also good luck to Green Hill Gunnersn and I.C.E. for the 3rd place game.

It was a pleasure to have participated. I hope I have been a worthy rival, despite the level of my team.

Congratulations to all star 44 for their 5-2 victory over Pretorijanska Garda in the tournament final.

Great game from right wing Vasko Ganic with 2 goals and first star of the game...And also a solid performance from both goalies Kenny Wagner and Erik Jahn.

In the 3rd place game...The Green Hill Gunners came back from a 0-2 goals deficit and scored 3 goals in the 3 period to win the game 4-3 against I.C.E.

Right wing Josh Park scored 2 goals and had one assist for the winners and got the first star of the game.


1st (Gold medal): all star 44 (France)
2nd (Silver medal): Pretorijanska Garda (Serbia)
3rd (bronze medal): Green Hill Gunners (Croatia)

PPM Hockey Metro Pro Cup Awards

Gordie Howe Award for most goals goes to Green Hill Gunners left wing Pal Vida with 18 goals.

Wayne Gretzky Award for most points goes to(again) Green Hill Gunners left wing Pal Vida with 18 goals and 19 assists for a total of 37 points.

Raymond Bourque Award for most points by a defensman goes to Green Hill Gunners defensman Zlatan Zadro with 8 goals and 13 assists for a total of 21 points.

Martin Brodeur Award (save % minimun 5 games)goes to Dadodej Galaxy goalie Jakub Polyak with 94.47% save and 2 shootout in seven games and also 4 times all star of the game.

Dave Tiger William award (most penalised player) goes to Green Hill Gunners defensman Ante Halilovic with a total of 16 minutes of penalty.
