Why aren't you using Raul Real in net? Has he been injured? He looks much better than the other guy.

Yeah that last victory over another undefeated team let me know I'm really here for the playoff run.

As for the goalie situation its because of an odd build. Jancuska has a much higher goalie rating. Raul will be the starter once I get him trained properly. Can't complain with the numbers Jancuska is putting up. If he falters, I'll swap in Real.

I'm really experimenting with a few things this season. I recently took 2 of my top scorers out of the lineup to try a different scheme and the 7-2 result was a pretty good indication of the validity of the new plan.

Felt bad about benching those 2 players though. In the end though it means they will get a better build and work their way back onto the squad.

Yeah, last season proved that the regular season doesn't mean squat. So I'm just screwing around right now. I have 8 guys on the bench with 20+ experience and 90+ chemistry. That's including the all-time leading scorer B.Palffy (96 career points, 45exp). He just came back from a long injury and I felt bad about not letting him get the 4 points to reach 100 before benching him.

I'm also playing a back-up goalie on the 4th line (along with two weak youth pulls and the crap player I angry bought after losing in the finals last season). He's not even a great goalie prospect. I was just looking for someone to put on that line and this seemed like a fun experiment. Now I'm thinking this might be a good way to get a goalie some experience and chemistry. He's got a goal and two assists

That was a very nice win over the Ice Blazers. I expected a much closer game, and I didn't think you'd be happy with the result Looks like you beat up on his new goalie in his first game.

I thought I would have a chance to steal the game if I got my tactics right, but I certainly did not expect that result. Was pleasantly surprised and looking forward to our match which will be a nice gauge, regardless of what lineup you choose to dress.

I pulled a nice 196 player last time, but even he is benched until his build improves. Lots of high OR players have strange distributions, especially on the market. But given time, they can usually be trained up properly. I need to work on infrastructure some, but that takes serious coin.

I'll probably be using the same line-up. I've been debating putting Palffy on the 4th line in place of the goalie just to get him his 4 points, but he doesn't really have much of a future with us. There's no one else that I really want to get in the line-up. So scout away

I pulled a 194OR winger recently, but he's probably not nearly as good as your new guy. 196OR from SA4 seems like a lot, but that's not something I've had a lot of experience with. I've only had 3 pulls over 175OR and the first two were crap. This last guy isn't very good either, but I wanted to pretend like he was, so I put him in the starting line-up. His shot & tech Qs are both in the low 60s

Unscouted, this new kid, Taylor Edwards, has an average Q of 81. I have him slated as a C, his Off is only 49Q (hope higher), but he's showing 87 shot, 86 pass, 99 tech and 61 Agr. By far the best pull I've ever had in my short career. I have him up next in my queue for scouting. But yeah for an SA4 I'm very pleased.

I see Edwards as avg Q of 67, so watch out. Is his Goa Q high? He could be retrained for keeper.

pretty sad if true, he'll be scouted soon. He made it in as a sub last game and scored in his debut.

Goalie Q is very low. We'll just wait and see. And if he doesn't turn out to be a long term fit, oh well. He may still crack the lineup and help for a season or two.

Taylor scouted as an avgQ of 70, not great, but pretty solid and good where it counts

And I have a player similar to Taylor. He's 'only' 78AQ, but remove his 47 goalie Q and he gets over 80. He goes over 85AQ if you remove his defense

Yep, you got me on tactics and motivation. That's actually a relief. I would have been upset if I lost to Low motivation and the same tactics The goalie playing right wing scored again!

Ooh, a couple of players sold while I was MIA. I got around 2.5M for the both of them. That was just enough, along with a $10.7M loan and the gate from today's game, to build my first real seats. I've started a Large w/Seats for $18M! It'll be ready in 55 days, and the accessories in 70 & 85 days. I know it's too soon, but screw it. I want a damn restaurant

you weren't kidding when you said you think the regular season isn't important. Most likely playing on low you will still be a top seed and have a ton of energy left.

Still, even though you played on low, I'm somewhat pleased with the result, although 4 goals is a bit much to give up considering.

Nice work on the stadium! I want to build up but I don't even have the cash to add seats atm. I'm sure I could sell off some people, but I have a development plan and I'm sticking to it first.
