So besides playing friendlies at low, and usually playing must win games at high, what is so good about playing league games at low importance? I'd like to hear others thoughts about this. I haven't really found a pattern, or something that works, other than when I tactic match, AND play low against teams that I should beat, I win by a considerably higher score than when I'd play normal or high against the same team.
When you play on normal or high, you tend to take more penalties... That gives an advantage to the other team in the form of Power Plays. I think this is part of the reason for the advantage that you see when playing Low vs. Normal/High against an inferior team.
Ah, so that's your secret.... Yeah, I found that out, I was always weary about playing low in league games, even against teams that are very low in the league, cause if they decide to match tactics, then usually the tactics will decide the game.
Yeah I will always play Low if I feel that the game is very winnable for me. Even close games at the start of the season, I'll play Low.
Getting into this area of the season, if I'm not sure I can win comfortably, I'll play Normal, and the odd High game.

Yeah, I play high for games against any teams in the top 10, except for today, because I figured that since I won 1 already, away, and this was home, going normal was no big deal.
I always play on LOW, i don't care where i finish in the top-8 BUT i want to be in the playoffs. If i am just out of the playoffs I will play my must win games on medium. I have never had success on high.
If I recall correctly, the top 5 teams in I.1 had played all their regular season games on Low last season.
