This is the second season in a row where league regroupings have adversely effected my finances as far as sponsorships are concerned.
Last season, I had several very good teams imported into my division (something that I could not have anticipated) after accepting my sponsorship offers.
This season, I was actually promoted up to division II (where I'll struggle to get even 5 to 10 wins) two days after I accepted a bonus-laden sponsorship contract that rewards me for each win I get. I clearly wouldn't have accepted a bonus-laden contract, had I known that I'd be spending a season getting my ass handed to me.
This is absolute crap, and it has to stop. Despite careful management, and solid performance, I'll be making about SIGNIFICANTLY less this season than I did last season.
Consider that In the time between accepting sponsorship offers for the most recently completed season (season 18) and now:
- I upgraded my HR Department
- I upgraded my arena capacity by 2500 seats
- I added a luxury box to my arena
- My Marketing Managers have improved
- I was promoted to a higher division (and should feasibly be rewarded with "better" sponsorship offers because of that)
- My OTR is at least the same (and is likely marginally better)
Yet despite all those factors, the money that I'm making in the coming season will be $40 million worse than it was in season 18.
That's absolute trash.
Perhaps it's time that PPM actually think about logical ways to institute these sort of game breaking alterations?? Maybe a good starting point would be setting the fucking divisions BEFORE people accept their sponsorship offers? You know... so that we actually know what the hell is going on, and can make educated decisions with our sponsorship offers (which by the way, we're stuck with for nearly 4 god damn months).

Oh... and by the way. It's also totally awesome, and completely reasonable that PPM has just deleted the division that I was in previously.
Seriously. It's erased. All evidence of it is gone.
Why do I care? I don't know... maybe it'd be nice to be able to look at my draft history (or even the list of recently drafted players)? Maybe it would be nice to see a record of my performance in the regular season and playoffs?
But yeah... no worries. Why should I care about seeing any of my team's history.
As long as we fill up the leagues, everything will be totally awesome right?

Since we were regrouped, you will have a chance to negotiate a new contract next season. I think it happens in the first week. I'll see if I can find the details.
Also, this is the last season that we will be penalized for having less than 4 league levels.

Found it.
In the guide, finances sections, at the end of the third paragraph in the General Sponsor section, it reads:
If your team is moved to a different league in league regrouping and you signed a contract with bonuses, you can renegotiate this contract during the first two days of the season.
....
So you're good. Sponsor offers will still likely be low, but like I said, this is the last time that we will be crushed because we don't have enough leagues.
