I misunderstood what lanky said ...
funny thing is that i was never against any of their proposals, just that it was pretty much a feature for paid/pro managers only pretty much.
SA academy sucks so i dont understand the complain about "i want SA back"
I prefer draft as at least i can choose position.
I wasnt against the 28 days of scouting neither.
What i am against is to create a bigger gap between top and lower teams.
What I dont like about pay to win games is that there is a huge gap between the ones that pay and the ones that don't.
My issue with PPM is that even though it is not a pay to win, the gap exists and wish they would focus their attention more to this issue. And the draft as they proposed was making this issue worse.

I don't think there is a difference between Pro and Non-Pro. People who have winning teams are more likely to buy Pro. In all Canadian sports there are top teams that aren't Pro.
my point exactly. Reason why i won't have pro in hockey and soccer.
winning teams are often those who started on season 1. When they didnt is mostly because some teams folded helping them to become winning teams among the left overs.
But hey .. if there were different and I could actually compete with the top teams Id be likely using pro on those sports.
I could be very active but it doesn't matter. I wish the system would benefit the most active managers and not the ones that started earlier.
basketball short season may help that, specially if it also takes less time to build stuff. theoretically it wold take less time for non earlier started to catch up

Actually, while something need to be done to allow others to compete, I don't like the idea of correlating activity with success to a large extent. That's why I quit all of the duel games that PPM developed. I had to be constantly active to be successful in those games. In addition, I had to purposely avoid promotion to avoid being destroyed by all of the more active players.
The best part of this sort of game is that you can be successful without spending more than 5 minutes per day, unless you want to do so.
Id rather be activity based than who started earlier based.
If for example my pro rated idea would put in practice, even non hardcore would have some shot at winning as it does not require being online every day to build up facilities and etc ...
but them when every body are at the same level, likely being more active would benefit more.
eg: the proposed 28 day draft ( that i wans't against btw), market and change tactics based on opponents.

News coming out tomorrow everyone. It will relate to basketball (some exciting new features to keep the playing field more level) as well as the update to the draft I mentioned briefly.
