Ugh.... The Sports Academy players have salaries that are easily 5x that of my best player.

In basketball? That's likely because their OR is higher.

Alright so maybe only 3x my BEST player, but I have ~140 OVR players with salaries in the 300 range.

Salary is tied to the two highest attributes. Plus exp, popularity and league level. But it's the attributes that are making the difference for you most likely.

My 173 OVR player has a Pass of 30 and Technique of 30, thus a salary of 493.
Yet this player (Age 15 & 1 day with team, hence from Sports Academy) with highs of 28 & 26 has a salary of 1,432: basketball.powerplaymanag...

This is not really a Draft/SA topic. But, let me make it easy:

Who is the better player? Who demands a higher salary?

I think everyone is missing the point that it is the 15 year old sports academy players that just cost more, despite having the same or worse stats than other players. They literally cost 3x the amount. I get that you can just find these players mid-season and have exclusive rights over them, but 1.3-2.3k per game is ridiculous. Or at least, ridiculous early on.

This won't be the case in full version since 15yo will be half as good as day 1 players.
