you may not really plan to win (and as i mentioned the main goal is to make playoffs and promote) but when you are one game away from winning regular season, playing hard to win is not a bad deal.
Obviously I agree with bulls4ever=) The trophy is worth a bit of energy. It was just one game. And I only spent a half a point of energy more than kwingnut. I don't think that'll make much difference in the playoffs one way or the other.
And it was fun, too
Although I do have to admit that I was hoping to avoid the well-rested Quads in round 2.

Today went about as we expected. The home teams all won anyway. It's nice to see so many bumping up the intensity. It's boring when the underdogs don't even try.

hE HAD A NICE RUN of 4 goals in a row twice... Knew it woudl be tough. Hope Kalamazoo loses so I dont have to play you
Wow. That was an amazingly even game up until those two 4-goal runs. I don't think I've ever seen a game like that. Mine are always back and forth affairs with each team going on 3+ goal runs seemingly multiple teams each game.
And I don't think the Jazz can take game 3. This one was just a flukey home win.

you should see one playoff game I played on credit tournament. That was INSANE. Usually a game takes 10-15 minutes to finish. That one took 30 minutes with TWO overtimes
glad that one didn't go the other way, would've finished off a bad finish.

Nice comeback for K-zoo today. Trailing by 3 twice in the final 9 minutes, they tie it up in the last 30 seconds. Then outscore the Whale 6-1 in OT.
