3-2-1 is a type of defense mate. Your question is therefore kind of flawed and doesn't really make much sense. =/

Offensive style (balanced, fast breaks, slow transition) and shooting style (balanced, wings, backs, pivot) would be used to counter a defensive style (6-0, 5-1, 4-2, and 3-2-1).

Errr. i wrote it backwards. You got the drift. Question still stands. Which offense would best counter the 3-2-1?

Not sure there's much consensus on this yet to be honest. I've had games where just balanced shooting worked ok against it, but it really seems to depend most on the other team's players and goalies.

I tend to first focus on the team's players and devising a strategy around that, then I worry about what tactics they might use (since that is more easily changed than their lineup).

Do goalies use FIP?

No. FIP is only for field players.

If I have a player in Training camp, can he play in the National Cup game tomorrow? I know he cant for regular season games.

Nope. I believe international games are the only games a player can play in while in training camp.

He can go ONLY if you don't have enough players in your lineup to actually form a squad.

In that case, he would go to the game, and he would forgo the training camp (and it's bonus) on that day.

I haven't done this though, as I have a sneaking suspicion that it results in a "random lineup" which are pretty much never intelligent or favorable.

I'm considering upgrading my arena, but theres roughly only 27 days left in the season. IF i upgrade a section now, lets say for example i increase a section to 800 seats, which brings down the actual number of useable seats during construction, does that count against me come sponsorship time? I know the size of the arena is taken into consideration, but Is it regarded as an arena with less seats simply because a portion is under construction? Thereby potentially reducing the size of a potential sponsor offer?

Yes - don't start construction that won't be finished by day 109 unless you are willing to take a hit to your sponsors for the coming season.

upgrading to 800 only is not worth it at this moment. If you were to build, lets say a full triple it would be worth as even though you'd lose a bit of sponsor the gained tickets for building it faster would be higher than the sponsor loss.

its best to wait, save money and build a triple after you sign the sponsor.

I'm making a small expansion on my arena and upgrading my facilities. Are these choices the "right ones" to use my money from my team's promotion bonus?

It honestly depends on what you want to do.

Early in the game (when stuff is cheap, and doesn't take long to build), you can't really go wrong with building up your arena or your facilities.

Some people choose to build up arena more (so they make more money later on), others chose to build up facilities, which make your team better (which in turn helps you make more money later on).

It's really a preference thing.

Starting out though, I'd personally emphasize building your arena and HR dept. right now. Both of those are crucial to getting more money.

Since you've started behind the people who started on the first day of season 1, that's probably the best use of your resources, and the best way to ensure you'll be able to do what you want with your team in the future (be it buying players on the market, etc.)

Other than that, IN ORDER FROM MOST TO LEAST MONEY SPENT, I'd put money in your training facility, regeneration facility, sports academy, and then finally equal parts in maintenance, education, and medical centers.

As one final note. Be sure to look at some of the better teams (in divisions I.1, II.1, II.2, II.3) for how they've built their teams (through the first 4 seasons). Don't get discouraged. Use them as a blueprint for what you should be focusing on.
