Took down Inter Melon today. I'm pretty sure somebody snuck some Performance Enhancing Drugs into my goalies' Cheerios this morning. They both performed REALLY well.

No kidding, they played very well. When he wasn't defending, shots were going out. The good thing is that 2nd and 3rd place teams lost too.

Luckily the next match Inter Melon faced a team where both starting goalies were in camp.

Now Inter Melon stands in a very comfortable position with 6 matches ahead of 2nd and 3rd with 14 matches to go

Camp is over record 1-3

With 7 days until level 11 academy is ready, i think i will wait until the next Friday to take a pull, and than will have another pull on Saturday.

Ugh... horrible handball update last night.

1) Best OR player is out for six games and I was going to set up a training camp in a 2 days. But hey... this is exactly why I plan on keeping Russ, Larkin, AND Robbins on my team. If one ever goes down, my goaltending is still among the best in the USA. So at least the "game impact" isn't huge.

But still... that's horrible timing. Gonna push my training camp back a few days now (he'll still miss a day of training camp due to the injury, but what else can I do?)... and hopefully I dont eat it in the standings while my starters are away having fun in the California sun.

2) S.A. pull was a single 190 OR 1.5 star player. Yuck.

Meh continues. Last SA10 picks gave me a 249 Right back who will slot in to replace a 223 who I dropped. So near the bottom of the depth charts but a 26OR gain. SA10 gave me 5 players who are Meh. On OG Meh does get you in the line up. LOL Lets see what SA11 brings. Yep, I am going to build SA12 on the first day its available.

With 2 day straight pulls from lvl 11 academy, i expect to get at least one player with OR over 300.

I actually finally pulled a 3 star 296 OR pivot, allowing me to sell my backup pivot.

Erratic went HAM. Cataclysm did well, but only gained a point on 8th place Team USA. A bunch of camps slowed most of the top teams.

Interesting post. The Emus hope to ride this wave into the playoffs. But as you said, a lot of teams went to camp during this span and could close out the season strong.

I just need to close it out as strong as Repairmen....

Erratic Emus is a great team that for some reason was very erratic the first half of the season. I am not surprised.

Now ... your team was the "surprise" as you moved to 2nd place when few saw that coming (that fast)

I wasn't planning to run a camp as I wanted to wait for the facility to level up before but I am very tempted to send my players to vacation now on the 4th quarter.

Lock in first place then send them off for the first camp. That is what I would do.

The 300 OR pivot I pulled last week seems to have some really good qualities, at least relative to the majority of my other players.

Ranks 2,3,4 lost today... yikes only 3 pts separating positions 2-5.
