lol.. Soudns even more complicated.

I was thinking more on the lines of every team has a youth team (amateur) that competes against the same team the varsity team plays. less complicated.

oh .. that sounds easy and fun. Thing is : I want to try to find ways to get lower leagues more fun and competitive.

Just using USA as example:
d iii.6 (mine) had 4 active teams. with all new managers, only 3 got active. so 7 teams active at the end. They are new teams playing against seasoned manager (me as example) that has much better team. That discourages people right in the beginning and many quit or dont play at all.


Something i dont like is how things are fixed.

Then my d iii.6 can only promote to d ii.2
I promoted there but can only fight to avoid relegation, If i had gone to other leagues (ii.3 or ii.4) I could be fighting to finish top 8 instead.

There are serious implications on this:
1. Money: if i play on ii.3 and finish 5th I get more bonus, better sponsors deals
2. OTR: more wins, better position on national cup and others, more sponsor money, more tickets selling.
3. Real chance to have players on league of the season and thus more money and popularity.

I just dont like how things are fixed
1. second placed team of D3.6 will always play a team of D2 at a very specific position.
2. winner of the D3.6 will always play in d2.2

i think it should be randon every season so the leagues have chances to be at the same level of competition.

That sounds like a really good idea! I never thought of that but it could work. a lot of coding though.

to use random instead of fixed promotion/relegation and what league the league winners go should be very simple and easy to implement.

OH I was talking about the youth league idea.

Lower Level NT's woudl be amazing for new teams---

Hey can we have the hit statistic put in the game I want to know how the players in my team do in the physical aspect and it seems like there are only about 2-3 hits a game and there always penaltys

Adding hits to the statistics brings up player subtypes like playmaker, sniper, checker/grinder, two-way forward, offensive defenseman and stay-at-home defenseman.

If we can do this can someone explain it to me. How about copy tactics so we can make a few changes to it and save it as something new? Do not like how I cannot create a template base to build off.

Question: what is with the soccer national u17 teams? Are those new and will we be able to sign up for candidacy this year? Just wondering.

Yep. They just came out this season. The elections just happened in the first week of this season, Check the US Football (soccer) forum. I think the election discussion was in the National Team thread, but it could have been in the U20/U17. If you want to get your feet wet with the NTs, ask one of the Managers to be an assistant. They all seem to rotate assistants throughout the season.

Has there ever been any thought about putting goaltender W-L-OTL records in the player statistics section? (hockey)

I'd like that as well.

SUGGESTION---
Why cant I see the Career Longevity from his previous years on a Player I buy?
YET--- I can see his stats in Detail? Isnt it a practice for PPM to prevent lies about a players CL, so why cant that carry over? Randolph Pelletier of WHY this is useful. manager lied (misled) about his CL dropping and it dropped to a 4/6 the next year. Shameful you cannot carry that over.
