whew, much thanks tujague.... barely made it. I think I went too conservative with energy early on in the season, although it did allow me to spend more later on which helped make the push to avoid automatic relegation at least
I'm the opposite. Much more time on the soccer team even though I don't really care about the sport. It's a pretty raw game, but I still love the competitiveness of it. My team seems to yo-yo up and down the standings all season. I never know what's going to happen.

The only 'upset' in the LC wasn't really that big of an upset. Leggmann was again a surpise on the losing end. I swear, even though your season is over, I still expect you to make a run!

I would say that a shooting gallery of 4 goals per hour would be impossible on me, but I sent 3 of my 5 starting defenders to camp, so who knows. These cup matches are great for getting chemistry up for the next season, especially since I have a few players that will need to take up some minutes right away. Even if I lose, I'll have a better chance to win twice more and make up the OTR loss. none the less, the players that are left are pretty good. No one below a 6
The scoring outburst from last game was the last thing I expected. Most of my offense is in camp, including every forward I used this season. The two I did use are only rated 6. And Vomacka, although used sparingly in his Atomics career (which is about to end soon), always seems to have one good game and then disappear for long stretches. Once again, I'll be hoping for a 1-0 win

Round 2 included 1 vs 10 and 2 vs 8. So, not March Madness style.
